On the 28th of sunday which happens to be my birthday, the game between Manchester United and Chelsea took place at Old Trafford, the home of Manchester United. The game has beeen one of the largest anticipted match in the history of EPL. With people already placing their bets on who will win and whi will loose.. In my country, the largest fanbase is the Manchester-Chelsea fanbase as the two clubs have gathered fans in the whole of Nigeria.
Coming to Nigeria, one can proudly say the two teams have beaten all other teams to emerge as the fastest and longest rival teams with millions of followers here in Nigeria. By implication, im saying any corner you turn to here in Nigeria, its majorly Man U fans you see or Chelsea fans. The rest of the English premier league teams are scarcely available talkless of the other leagues.

The match which was played at exactly 5:30pm today, Nigerian time, was brought to an end with a draw inwhich both sides scored a goal.. Obviously the match was dominated by Man U after which J. Sancho scored a brilliant goal and afterwards chelsea equalizing back and pressing them hard.
Chelsea was in total control in the first half as they pressed the Red Devils forcing them into their own box. As a result of this, the Devils played a defensive and counter match that first half.
The two sides led by Thomas Tuchel and Michael Carrick had a 90mins draw match each going back home with a point.. As it stands, Chelsea are still ontop of the league while Manchester maintain their position on the table.
While fans have commended Carrick on his draw against Chelsea, others have criticised him for not starting Christiano Ronaldo in the first half.
