Cycling to Nessebar - MARC #320
It's Sunday I have a whole day free for cycling. I and @vesytz organize a long cycling yesterday to take a ride to the city of Nessebar. we expect 3 more of bike gang to join but we gather 9 which is more cool and fun. Weather was good not so hot and a little windy. Just perfect condition for cycling.
The whole journey took 1 day because we stop we have several flat tires from Tribulus terrestris. We ride 82 km on dirt roads along the sea with incredible views.
We gather on our usual place and took the road to Sarafovo and then on the dirt road to Pomorie.
In Pomorie, we bought some beers/water and something to eat and made a quick rest before the laguna between Pomorie and Aheloy. The road is one of my favorite. On one side is Pomorie lake full with burds and on the other side is the Black sea.
After passing the laguna we should carry our bike across the shore because there is no way to cross. Then we enter in Aheloy, fix some flat tires and took the road for Ravada again on the dirt one along the sea.
Aheloy and Ravda are almost connected via hotels and villas. We were lucky that there were no much people because of the summer season ending.
After Ravda we arrived in Nessebar. Wich was the ancient city of Mesembria . Made a full circle on the old town and took some rest before the way back.
We back on the same roads and again we should fix flat tires in Pomorie. It was almost 10 pm when we get home. 12 hours of fun and cycling was the great end for the week. Unfortunately, there is not much time for such long rides, I wish to be more often.
Hope you enjoy my cycling day and heave a nice week.
Keep up the good work! 🏂

Thank you @alokkumar121 I'm glad you enjoy my cycling journey.
Wow! I know, it's never an easy journey but the beautiful views along the way made the journey easier to bear.
Nessebar is a very wonderful place to do cycling. Thank you for taking us there @outlinez. 😍
Maybe next month we'll do it again when the summer season over. Will try to make more photos from the old town, with less people you can see the beauty of this place
That's wonderful! 💕 I'm excited to see those views. 😊😊 Have a beautiful day ahead.

Great 82.11 AFIT tokens Thanks @actifit
It was hard for them to pedal haha! I imagine that the journey was exciting, being able to take those beautiful photographs is amazing, how attractive is the landscape ♡
Cycling was not hard. More annoying were flat tires :)

ehy dear @outlinez, great ride!
first I must admit ignorance and tell you that I had to go to google map to see where you were and then thank you for introducing me to a piece of Europe I didn't know. I read several posts about bulgaria here on steemit and I must admit that it fascinates me more and more :-)) congratulations on your beautiful photos and on the curie vote
Thank you @road2horizon . Yes тhere is a lot to see in Bulgaria
I remember that people from Czechoslovakia went to Bulgarian coast on vacation as it was affordable and quite close but I heard that it wasn't that nice. I can see that there was a lot of work done as there are new buildings, everything looks clean and it looks like a place that I would like to visit :)
You guys are crazy! Anytime I see your or vesytz name I know that it's going to be another epic biking trip and you never disappoint :)
Thank you for sharing and have a lovely day!
Thank you @delishtreats . Yes, some of the "businessmen" are nightmare, think only how to empty your pockets. But in general, people are awesome and Bulgaria is a good place to visit.
I did! I enjoyed your cycling day and thank you for bringing us with you :) What a beautiful journey cycling journey, blue skies, scenic views and wow 27K steps. Awesome! May i ask, what camera did you use?
Thank you @marblely . I use GoPro hero 4 black no mounts just hold it in my hand, default settings (ISO 100-400, Gopro color, white balance auto, spotlight: on ) )with a little touch in lightroom. I like hero 4 because it's small and handy and it's square forms give you better grip in the hand.
Oo GoPro! It takes very amazing shots, doesn’t it? I like the wide lens effect. You are very stable to be able to hold it while cycling :)

This was some journey. Bravo for the initiative 😀
How come you've had so many flat tires?
Thank you @ervin-lemark . There were too many thorns on the dirt road because of this plant https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tribulus_terrestris . Some of them are too big and even Stan's NoTubes can save you :)
Tribulus terrestris
Tribulus terrestris is an annual plant in the caltrop family (Zygophyllaceae) widely distributed around the world. It is adapted to grow in dry climate locations in which few other plants can survive. It is native to warm temperate and tropical regions in southern Eurasia, Africa, North America, and Australia. An aggressive and hardy invasive species, T. terrestris is widely known as a nuisance for its small woody fruit – the bur – having sharp spines which attach to crop workers, pedestrians, bicycle tires, and the mouths and fur of grazing animals.
Eh, now I see.
A great wiki quote that explains it all 😀
