Hola que tal saludos a toda la plataforma de HIVE, de nuevo por aqui con un nuevo contenido para la comunidad de @fulldeporte en esta oportunidad hablare de los posibles ganadores del premio a "Manager del Año" que otorga la Liga Venezolana de Béisbol Profesional todos los años desde la temporada 2003-2004 a quien se considere el mejor entrenador.
En los proximos dias la liga debe estar entregando el premio que lleva por nombre, Alfonso “Chico” Carrasquel al Manager del Año. Particularmente yo considero que son tres los candidatos a llevarse tal distincion y un solo ganador, que en este caso seria Wilfredo Romero de los Tigres de Aragua quien hizo practicamente un milagro y clasifico a los "RAYADOS" al round robin.
Hello greetings to the entire HIVE platform, here again with a new content for the community of @fulldeporte in this opportunity I will talk about the possible winners of the "Manager of the Year" award given by the Venezuelan League of Professional Baseball every year since the 2003-2004 season to whoever is considered the best manager.
In the next few days the league should be handing out the award named Alfonso "Chico" Carrasquel to the Manager of the Year. Particularly I consider that there are three candidates to win this award and only one winner, which in this case would be Wilfredo Romero of the Tigres de Aragua who made a miracle and classified the "RAYADOS" to the round robin.

En mi lista no figuran como aspirante a este premio Luis Dorante de los Bravos de Margarita, Marcos Davalillo de las Aguilas del Zulia, Omar Lopez de los Caribes de Anzoategui, Yadier Molina de los Navegantes del Magallanes ni Carlos Mendoza de los Cardenales de Lara. Dorante no pudo clasificar a los Bravos a la siguiente etapa de campeonato a pesar que el equipo bateo en colectivo para average de 288 siendo el tercero en ese renglon, en cuando al picheo fueron septimo con 5.22 de efectividad sus abridores lograron 11 victorias, mientras el relevo consiguio 15 juegos ganados para un total de 26 victorias a mi parecer Dorante no manejo bien a sus lanzadores abridores ya que perdieron 18 juegos, Dorante los dejo mucho tiempo en play, teniendo profundidad en el relevo. Hubo un momento en la temporada que los insulares ocuparon por varios dias la cuarta casilla de la clasificacion pero perdieron varios juegos claves, entre ellos aquel del 20 de diciembre ante los Navegantes del Magallanespor 7-1 de alli el equipo se vino abajo. En el juego por el comodin no respondieron y quedaron fuera de jugar en enero. De Marcos Davalillo es muy dificil hablar como candidadto a este premio despues de la mala temporada que tuvieron las Aguilas del Zulia. Omar Lopez a mi parecer llego tarde a Caribes cuando ya al equipo se le hacia muy cuesta arriba pelear un puesto en la clasificacion. Yadier Molina fue inesperto a la hora de tomar decisiones, dejo por largo tiempo a varios abridores y relevistas, fue el manager que mas fue expulsado de un juego durante la campaña, aun teniendo coach de experiencia en la liga como Roberth Perez y Ramon Hernandez. Carlos Mendoza con los Cardenales de Lara lo tuvo todo desde el comienzo como para dominar la tabla en el primer lugar de punta a punta, sin embargo debio conformarse con ser segundo de la ronda regular, Lara fue el equipo con el cuarto mejor promedio en bateo colectivo con average con 287. Segundos en carreras impulsadas, segundos en pelotas sacadas del parque, segundos en carreras anotadas, fueron el segundo equipo en poncharse menos en la temporada por lo que podemos decir que tuvieron las herramientas balanceadas de principio a fin. En cuanto al Picheo los dirigidos por Carlos Mendoza lucieron 4.87 de efectividad colectiva, sus abridores fueron el unico dolor de cabeza de Mendoza solo ganaron 10 juegos que iniciaron pero tuvieron el respaldo de los relevistas quienes ganaron 24. En mi opinion los Cardenales con un gran equipo repleto de grandes ligas y figuras emblematicas, mas el solo hecho de tener al coach de banca de los Yankees de New York debieron dar mucho mas o quedar con mejor registro; por eso le resto meritos a Mendoza de ser candidato al premio.
My list does not include Luis Dorante of the Bravos de Margarita, Marcos Davalillo of the Aguilas del Zulia, Omar Lopez of the Caribes de Anzoategui, Yadier Molina of the Navegantes del Magallanes or Carlos Mendoza of the Cardenales de Lara. Dorante could not qualify the Bravos to the next stage of the championship even though the team batted collectively for an average of 288 being third in that line, as for the pitching they were seventh with a 5.22 ERA their starters managed 11 wins, while the relief got 15 games won for a total of 26 wins in my opinion Dorante did not manage his starting pitchers well as they lost 18 games, Dorante left them too much time in play, having depth in the relief. There was a moment in the season when the Islanders occupied for several days the fourth place in the standings but lost several key games, among them that of December 20 against the Navegantes del Magallanes by 7-1, from there the team fell apart. In the wild card game they did not respond and were left out of the January game. It is very difficult to talk about Marcos Davalillo as a candidate for this award after the bad season the Aguilas del Zulia had. Omar Lopez, in my opinion, arrived late to Caribes when the team was already struggling to fight for a place in the standings. Yadier Molina was unexpected when it came to making decisions, he left several starters and relievers for a long time, he was the manager who was sent out of the most games during the campaign, even though he had experienced coaches in the league such as Roberth Perez and Ramon Hernandez. Carlos Mendoza with the Cardenales de Lara had everything from the beginning to dominate the table in first place from start to finish, however he had to settle for second in the regular round, Lara was the team with the fourth best collective batting average with 287. Second in runs batted in, second in balls knocked out of the park, second in runs scored, they were the second team to strike out less in the season so we can say that they had the tools balanced from start to finish. In terms of pitching, Carlos Mendoza's pitching staff showed a collective 4.87 ERA, his starters were the only headache for Mendoza, they only won 10 games they started but they had the support of the relievers who won 24. In my opinion, the Cardinals with a great team full of big leaguers and emblematic figures, plus the fact of having the bench coach of the New York Yankees should have given much more or had a better record; that's why I don't give Mendoza the merits to be a candidate for the award.

El nombre de Henry Blanco deberia estar entre los finalistas a este premio aunque dificulto que lo gane, contar con una gran camada de grandes ligas durante la campaña le da una fuerte ventaja con respecto al resto de los dirigentes, ademas tuvo un equipo banlanceado entre juventud y experiencia que se combinaron en numeros para lograr clasificar tercero despues de tres años sin estar presentes en la fiesta de enero. Los Tiburones a pesar de quedar terceros en la tabla fueron el sexto equipo con el mejor promedio ofensivo con 284 de average colectivo, en el picheo fueron tercero en efectividad con 4.60. Blanco ya gano el premio en una ocasion cuando dirigio a los Bravos en la 2015-2016 donde dejo record de 28 ganados y 35 perdidos en esta campaña maneo muy bien los tiempos sus abridores solo ganaron 7 juegos perdieron 14 sus relevistas respondieron con mas de 80 solidas entradas lanzadas, recibio fuertes criticas por la forma en que utiliza a sus relevistas a quienes deja por espacios prolongados cuando son bateados con facilidad por el rival, Gregory Infante fue el relevista que mayor castigo recibio sin embargo exibio una efectividad de 5.40 en 25 entradas a mi criterio Blanco salio barato.

Clasificar de tercero en la ronda regular y fracasar en el round robin la campaña pasada llevo a la gerencia de los Leones del Caracas a intentarlo de nuevo con Jose Alguacil y no se equivocaron; los melenudos terminaron primero bajo el mando de Alguacil conviertiendose en la ofensiva mas solvente de la actual campaña con 299 promedio colectivo despacharon 58 vuelacercas, en el picheo fueron segundos en efectividad con 4.38 de efectividad, hubo alli un trabajo combinado entre el cuerpo tecnico pues a la defensiva fueron el equipo con menos errores al campo. Alguacil combino relacion estrecha entre, gerencia- cuerpo tecnico-jugadores y fanaticos con armonia y entusiasmo lo que le dan el favoritismo a recibir la distincion.

Despues de llevar al Magallanes al titulo contra todo pronostico el año pasado y ganar el premio de manager del año por encima de Jose Alguacil, Romero no fue contratado, el resto de los 7 equipos se decidieron por otros dirigentes y Wilfredo se fue a Mexico donde duro poco tiempo porque fue despedido. Los Tigres de Aragua arrancaron la temporada con record negativo de 1 ganado y 9 perdido y deciden llamar al actual dirigente que poco a poco cambio la mentalidad del equipo, al punto tal que logro ganar 24 juego desde que asumio las riendas tigreras, el camino a la clasificacion parecia cuesta arriba, sin embargo en los juegos por el comodin logro lo que parecia imposible. Desde la llegada de Romero la ofensiva cambio completamente terminaron con el segundo mejor promedio ofensivo y aunque fueron ultimos en efectividad sus lanzadores alcanzaron 10 victorias bajo el mando del estratega. Esto lo convierte en un fuerte candidato a alzarse con el premio pero Alguacil deberia llevarse tal distincion.
After leading Magallanes to the title against all odds last year and winning the manager of the year award over Jose Alguacil, Romero was not hired, the rest of the 7 teams decided for other managers and Wilfredo went to Mexico where he lasted a short time because he was fired. The Tigres de Aragua started the season with a negative record of 1 win and 9 losses and decided to call the current manager who little by little changed the mentality of the team, to the point that he managed to win 24 games since he took over the Tigres reins, the road to qualification seemed uphill, however in the games for the wild card he achieved what seemed impossible. Since Romero's arrival the offense has completely changed, they finished with the second best offensive average and although they were last in effectiveness, their pitchers reached 10 wins under Romero's command. This makes him a strong candidate to win the award, but Alguacil should win the award.
