Recientemente nuestra selección nacional Vinotinto ha pasado por rumores que van desde enfrentamientos en el camerino entre jugadores, indisciplina y abandono del equipo por referentes claves, la designación del nuevo DT entre otros temas ha sido una incertidumbre, la federación venezolana de fútbol aún no ha dado respuestas a muchas interrogantes como; ¿quién será el nuevo técnico? ¿seguirá o no Leo Gonzalez? ¿Fue cancelada o no la deuda pendiente con Peseiro?
Lo del nuevo técnico va a ser para largo y tal vez el próximo año y unos días antes del primer juego del 2022 se anuncie, posiblemente será el mismo Leo González quien viene asumiendo como interino, y digo esto porque aun no esta definido quien será el encargado de llevar las riendas del combinado por el resto de las eliminatorias después de la doble fecha de noviembre, además yo me pregunto y muchos también lo harán, si habrá dinero para pagar a un estratega extranjero, pues aun no le han cancelado la deuda al ex director técnico Jose Peseiro de 14 meses y al parecer este denuncio a la federación venezolana de fútbol ante la Federación Internacional de Fútbol Asociación (FIFA) por el incumplimiento de su pago.

A mi criterio este tipo de controversias genera cierta desconfianza entre los dirigentes de renombres que pudieran asumir el banquillo vinotinto el próximo año, José Néstor Pékerman fue uno de los nombres que sonó para dirigir a Venezuela, sin embargo el tema económico pareciera ser la piedra de tranca, ya que nadie se va arriesgar a trabajar sin garantías sólidas y concretas, la denuncia de Peseiro tumba toda posibilidad de que un extranjero pueda dirigir, la federación debe moverse por partida doble; pagar la deuda y nombrar ya al nuevo DT.
