My Actifit Report Card: July 29 2025, A Sip of Iced Tea, a Portion of Stories on the Journey

On a cloudy afternoon, I decided to stop for a moment at a busy and tempting street food cart. This simple cart offered a variety of tempting dishes, starting with "Greek Chicken + Rice" for Rp10,000, complete with a selection of fried foods like tofu, bakwan, and tempeh—a truly hard-to-resist offer!

On the other side of the cart, a banner clearly displayed for cold drinks read "Es Teh Suka-Suka" (Choose Your Own Ice Tea), priced from just Rp3,000. Furthermore, there were other refreshing options like "Boba & Cincau" for Rp5,000. A perfect combination to quench your thirst after a long walk.

I ordered a portion of spicy geprek chicken with warm rice and fried tempeh, then finished it off with a refreshing glass of sweet iced tea with boba. While waiting for my order to be prepared, I sat on a simple plastic stool provided in front of the cart. The atmosphere was very welcoming—there were the sounds of children playing and laughing, and even a colorful coin-operated toy machine that caught the attention of the little ones.

A short, meaningful sign was taped to the cart's wall:
"Take care of your business, even if it can't make you rich, but it can make you live" — bringing a small smile to my face.

This brief moment was a refreshing break from my journey. Sometimes, simple joys can be found in unexpected places and foods.
