A bit more about Brazil’s National Environmental Conference / Um pouco mais da Conferência Nacional de Meio Ambiente do Brasil [eng/pt](Meu Relatório Actifit: maio 8 2025)

Guys, almost 9000 steps yesterday, walking through the halls of Brazil’s National Environmental Conference!

Yesterday was working group day, 50 in total.
There are 4 floors in a large convention center, with rooms, plenaries, and several other spaces:

Brazil is meeting here: indigenous peoples, government technicians, community leaders, entrepreneurs...
One group, in particular, caught my attention: the cannabis legalization crowd. They held some open conferences and brought several proposals.

The group I worked with was very small, fewer than 10 people, while some groups had over 40…
Curiously, I met another Pablo, adding to my collection of namesakes 🤭 .

The activities were intense, lots of discussion, each group had to review about 10 proposals, and prioritize some to present at the axis plenary, which happens today.

Gente, quase 9000 pontos ontem, andando pelos corredores da Conferência Nacional de Meio Ambiente do Brasil!

Ontem foi dia de trabalho nos grupos de trabalho, 50 no total.
São 4 andares de um grande centro de convenções, com salas, plenárias e diversos outros espaços:

O Brasil se encontra aqui: povos originários, técnicos de governo, lideranças comunitárias, empreenderores...
Um grupo em específico me chamou a atenção: a turma da legalização da cannabis. Eles realizaram algumas conferências livres e trouxeram várias propostas.

O grupo em que trabalhei era bem pequeno, menos de 10 pessoas, alguns grupos tinham mais de 40...
Curiosamente, encontrei mais um Pablo, aumentando minha coleção de xarás 🤭

As atividades foram intensas, muita discussão, cada grupo precisou revisar cerca de 10 propostas, e priorizar algumas delas pra apresentar na plenária dos eixo, que ocorre hoje.
