América siguió siendo infinitamente superior a un Diablo sin capacidad de reacción, pero ya fue incapaz de mover el marcador que se cerró en un vistoso 3-0.
With the crowd still buzzing with the Chilean's goal, just two minutes later, Henry Martín set up Zendejas, who despite his short build, rose high and seemed to hover in the air for a very short moment to kill off the Diablo with a header in the 17th minute. Las claves de la mejoría con Ortiz son sencillas; en la ultima etapa de Solari los de Coapa habían perdido el equilibrio defensivo que tanto les caracterizó en los dos primeros torneos con “el Indiecito” al frente, equilibrio que se ha recuperado con Fernando Ortiz en el banquillo. Otro aspecto fundamental es la disposición táctica del equipo con un 4-2-2-2 que prima el juego creativo por el interior y depende mucho menos de las incorporaciones por los costados.
The keys to the improvement under Ortiz are simple; in the last period under Solari, the Coapa side had lost the defensive balance that characterised them so much in the first two tournaments with "el Indiecito" at the helm, a balance that has been recovered with Fernando Ortiz on the bench. Another fundamental aspect is the team's tactical arrangement, with a 4-2-2-2 formation that favours creative play on the inside and is much less reliant on flank play.
