A primera hora de la jornada tendremos la visita del cuarto lugar en la liga Tottenham Hotspur que enfrentará al décimo en la tabla Brentford en el Brentford Community Stadium. En actividades previas en este encuentro ambos tuvieron actividades con encuentros amistosos de los cuales el Brentford no tuvo tanta suerte dado que de los tres amistosos salió con dos derrotas y un empate. Sin embargo el Tottenham Hotspur tuvo mejor suerte dado que obtuvo una victoria y un empate en este tipo de enfrentamiento no oficiales. En los tres enfrentamientos previos entre estos dos equipos el Tottenham Hotspur hay salido con la mayor parte de la victoria, aunque en el último encuentro terminó en empate. En el partido anterior terminado en igualdad llama la atención en las estadísticas el Brentford tuvo una mayor cantidad de tiro a puesta pero sin efectividad, aunque ayudada también con la mayor cantidad de tiros de esquina. En este partido anterior tuvo una destacada actuación el ya conocido Ivan Toney con ocasiones claras en el encuentro y que junto a Christian Eriksen comandaron la delantera del Brentford teniendo actividad destacada en la delantera del equipo.
De igual manera actuación destacada de Mads Bech Sørensen y de Pontus Jansson en labores defensivas con 84 porciento de efectividad en los pases. Por la parte del equipo londinense el siempre temido Heung-min Son con un increíble 86 porciento de efectividad de pases, el campeón del mundo Cristian Romero también se suma a los jugadore claves del encuentro por sus labore defensivas respaldadas por haber ganada 4 de los 5 duelos en los que estuvo involucrado y con una efectividad de pase de un 93 porciento. A solo un punto del New Castle United el Tottenham Hotspur pudiera pasar a tercer lugar de la competición y estar mucho más cómodo en plazas de la UEFA Champions League de perder el New Castle.

Me parece que el partido más atractivo será el Liverpool vs Aston Villa, sobre todo las plantillas que tienen estos dos equipos y por la obligación de ganar que tiene el conjunto rojo.

Primero gracias por tu tiempo en responder Colega @anthony2019 , creo que hay estar bien pendiente de este partido dado que no tuvo un buen inicio esta etapa y en la liga en general tal parece que la salida de Sadio Mané le hizo mucho daño y con un Luis Díaz lesionado y con el uruguayo Darwin Nuñez que no ha tenido el rendimiento esperado no creo que tengan tantas posibilidades como el Arsenal o el City para llevarse el torneo. El Aston villa debe de hacer todo lo posible también para ganar este encuentro dado a su bajo rendimiento y estar por lo menos en la zona media de la competición y estar fuera del descenso, una vez más gracias y felices fiestas junto a la familia.
Es increíble que la Premier juegue en estas fechas. Dejando eso a un lado, me gusta mucho el Arsenal-West Ham, debería ser un partidazo.
Y que buena temporada la del Newcastle, tienen que ser favoritos ante el Leicester y creo que seguirán cosechando triunfos.

Hay varios partidos en esta jornada que son muy llamativos, empezando por el Aston Villa vs Liverpool, y pese a que salió la leyenda Red Steven Gerard , ahora tenemos la rivalidad entre Emery y Klopp, que en los últimos años nos han regalado duelos muy emocionantes en Europa, teniendo otras batallas igualmente igualadas cuando el español estaba en el Arsenal.
El mismo Arsenal va contra un West Ham en caída libre, y pese a las bajas del mundial, es un partido idóneo para que sigan sumando de a 3.
Aunque para mí el más interesante será el del United, van contra el peor de la Premier League y por la Carabao dieron una buena imagen, han sabido manejar la baja de Cristiano Ronaldo y ahora se espera muchísimo más de Erik ten Hag, pues tuvo un tiempo de adaptación y en teoría tiene un camerino más manejable, aunque la baja de un jugador de este calibre siempre puede ser una desventaja.

Recuerdo que cuando estaba niño...aburrido pasaba los canales uno por uno los 25 de Diciembre...hasta que de sorpresa me encontré con estos partidos...el "boxing day" te hablo del tiempo de Drogba en el Chelsea, Ronaldo en Manchester, Van Persie en Arsenal, Gerrard & Lampard, esa época....saludos hermano, para mí, la Premier es la mejor.
