An intense Sunday || Domingo de intensidad. Mi informe de Actifit: enero 17 2026

Bike training sessions are becoming quite unusual in terms of pace changes. We are entering a stage where the intensity is increasing at times and we are beginning to see the results of all the work we have been doing. Today, the coach gave us the green light at one point during the session to increase the intensity in terms of speed, regardless of our heart rate.
Los entrenamientos en bicicleta se están tornando bastante peculiares en lo que respecta a los cambios de ritmo. Estamos entrando en una etapa donde la intensidad se redobla por momentos y se comienza a ver todo el trabajo que venimos realizando. El día de hoy el entrenador nos dio vía libre en un momento del trabajo, para imprimirle intensidad en lo que respecta velocidad sin importar la frecuencia cardíaca.



An average heart rate of 142 bpm and a maximum of 172 bpm means that I was working in zone 4 for most of the route and at times reaching zone 5. It felt really good, and I'm very satisfied with all the work we've been doing. When you work with a coach who has experience in the field, everything takes on greater significance, especially since this is still in the construction phase. According to him, the best is yet to come in February and March.
142 bpm de frecuencia media y una máxima de 172 bpm, habla de que gran parte del trayecto estuve trabajando en zona 4 y por momentos tocando zona 5. Muy buenas sensaciones realmente y me llena de satisfacción todo el trabajo que venimos realizando. Cuando trabajas con un entrenador que tiene experiencia en el área, todo cobra mayor significancia y eso, que esto todavía está en etapa de construcción. Según el mismo, lo sabroso vendrán en los meses de febrero y marzo.


I liked to call the title of the thumbnail "symphony" because if the image comes across, you don't perceive the wind. That position on the ladder to cut through the wind and slow down the lashing has to be perfect and harmonious, just like a symphony. The first few kilometers were very windy, but then we faced the second part of the journey with a crosswind, albeit less intense. It was a fabulous effort that shows us we are strong enough to face the challenges that come our way.
Al título de la miniatura me gustó llamarlo sinfonía porque si bien en la imagen no se percibe el viento, esa posición en escalera para cortar dicho viento y aminorar el latigazo, tiene que ser perfecta y armoniosa, tal cual una sinfonía. Fueron los primeros kilómetros de mucho viento, para luego encarar la segunda parte del trayecto con un viento de costado pero con menos intensidad. Un trabajo fabuloso que nos hace ver que estamos fuertes para encarar las vicisitudes que se nos presentan.


During the third half, there was of course laughter and stories about the journey, accompanied by coffee with milk and croissants. Once home, I had some fruit, in this case melon, while I waited for the omelet to be made so I could immediately incorporate some high-quality protein.

En el tercer tiempo por supuesto estuvo presente la risa y las anécdotas la travesía, acompañado con un café con leche y medias lunas. Llegado a casa algo de fruta y en este caso melón, mientras esperaba que se realice el omelette para incorporar inmediatamente proteínas de calidad.
