   Momentos, que ocurren una vez al año, no debemos dejar pasar, sin algo de aventura. Rubén, amantes del ciclismo MTB (Mountoain Bike), nos invita al Whass (Osacar) y a mí, para salir a rodar, en el día de su cumpleaños. ¡Allí fuimos!

      Nada, de salir a relajarse, sino, todo lo contrario. Rubén, como que quería darle un mensaje al universo, diciéndole que está más vivo que nunca, salió como un toro de su corral, a darle duro y parejo, por un largo tramo. Más aún, que íbamos a favor de viento, pero siempre Palabras, poniendo paños fríos a la situación, les recordé que en la vida todo se paga y que debíamos volver, en contra del viento. Mensaje subliminal, para que tomen consciencia que no debíamos gastar todo y guardar para el regreso.

      Llegamos al molino, nuestro punto se retome, que en estas épocas, las plantaciones de maíz, están por doquier. Fotos, con el cumpleañero, hidratación, comimos algo de fruta (en mi caso un durazno) y emprendimos la vuelta y como era sabido, el viento se hizo presente.
Rubén tiene un estilo de pedaleo explosivo, por momentos levanta la velocidad, pero si le aguantas la rueda, es difícil, que te deje colgado. Si, lo sé, es probable que no entiendas el lunfardo ciclista de argentina. Pero, en líneas generales, creo que entendieron.

Ruben has an explosive style of pedaling, at times he picks up speed, but if you hold the wheel, it is difficult for him to leave you hanging. Yes, I know, you probably don't understand Argentinean cycling slang. But, in general terms, I think they understood.

      Una vez, en la casa del cumpleañero, que por cierto es la primera vez que íbamos, nos encontramos con la grata sorpresa, que en fondo de su casa tenía un bombeado de agua, que se utilizaba muchos años atrás. Inmediatamente, se disparó en mí un recuerdo de la casa de mis padres, que tenían uno igual. Salgo corriendo, a buscar el celular para capturar el momento, donde nos hidratábamos con el agua de las profundidades de la tierra. ¡Momentos únicos!

Once, at the birthday boy's house, which by the way was the first time we went there, we were pleasantly surprised to find that at the back of his house he had a water pump, which was used many years ago. Immediately, it triggered in me a memory of my parents' house, who had one just like it. I ran out to get my cell phone to capture the moment when we were hydrating ourselves with water from the depths of the earth. Unique moments!

      Un anfitrión, con todas las letras. Su esposa y su hijo, nos atendieron, muy amablemente. Nos hicimos amigos de sus 4 perros y nos sentamos a disfrutar de ricas comidas, preparadas por la esposa de Rubén (lengua a la vinagreta, empanadas, quepis, torta helada y cerveza negra) y a charlar de la vida y obviamente, el ciclismo como tema principal.
Como siempre digo, tenemos miles de obligaciones cotidianas y muchas veces, nuestras economías, no nos acompañan. Pero amigos, cuando te rodeas de verdaderos amigos, no hace falta mucha plata para pasar momentos inolvidables.
