My Actifit Report Card: May 23 2025.Cycling afternoon
Today the day accompanied us, with a radiant sun and in spite of a latent cold, also with our friend Alejandro, we decided to go out cycling and of course the ride was great.
Hoy el día nos acompaño, con un sol radiante y a pesar de un frio latente, igualmente con el amigo Alejandro, decidimos salir a rodar en bicicleta y por supuestoj la travesía estuvo genial.
For a couple of kilometers we were accompanied by another friend, but his work duties made him return early. We had planned to do about 60 km in zone 2 and we made it successfully.
Por un par de kilómetro nos acompaño otro amigo, pero sus deberes laborales le hicieron volver antes de tiempo. Nosotros teníamos previsto hacer alrededor de 60 km en zona 2 y lo hemos logrado satisfactoriamente.
Although they started at a higher pace than the established, a situation that I did not like at all, because when you say zone 2, it must be respected. In order to complete the training in a satisfactory manner. But the disobedient guys went out at a pace that was around 33/35 km / hs and of course before time ran out of energy.
Si bien arrancaron a un ritmo superior de lo establecido, situación que no me gusto para nada, ya que cuando se dice zona 2, se debe respetar. De manera de cumplimentar el entrenamiento de manera satisfactoria. Pero los chicos desobedientes saliron a un ritmo que rondaba los 33/35 km/hs y por supuesto que antes de tiempo se quedaron sin energía.
Thanks to Alejandro's help we were able to take a few shots on the way back and the afternoon began to fade away and the cold began to attack again.
Gracias a la ayuda de Alejandro pudimos hacer unas tomas ya de regreso y la tarde comenzo a despedirse y el frio comenzo a atacar nuevamente.
Luckily we were well wrapped up, with food for the road and of course the appropriate hydration. As you know I am preparing for the Buenos Aires marathon, but I do the regenerative days by bike and believe me, it accommodates all the muscles. Hence my need to ride in zone 2. The idea is to run tomorrow and have energy and no dollars to do it.
Por suerte fuimos bien abrigados, con comida para el camino y por supuesto la hidratación pertinente. Como saben estoy preparando la maraton de Buenos Aires, pero los días de regenerativos lo hago en bicicleta y creanme, te acomoda todos los músculo. De ahí mi necesidad de rodar en zona 2. La idea es mañana correr y tener energía y nada de dolares para hacerlo.
