My Actifit Report Card: July 7 2025.Jogging and regenerating 💪.

Yesterday we did a very, very interesting bike ride, mostly in zone 2 and over 100 km. Of course a great workout requires active regeneration and it also adds up if you want to do it passively.


El día de ayer realizamos un fondo en bicicleta realmente muy pero muy interesante, mayormente en zona 2 y más de 100 km. Por supuesto un gran trabajo requiere de regenerar activamente y también suma si lo querés hacer de manera pasiva.

My new partner is 44 years old and like many has dedicated a large part of his life to working and building a house, raising children, strengthening his business and above all taking care of his family. At one time he did some cycling and then gave it up for the reasons stated above. But now he is very motivated to return to cycling and of course he is also encouraged to do some jogging.


Mi nuevo compañero tiene 44 años y como muchos ha dedicado gran parte a su vida al trabajo y a construir una casa, criar los hijos, fortalecer su emprendimiento y por sobre todo cuidar a su familia. En un tiempo hizo algo de ciclismo y luego lo dejó por las razones antes expuestas. Pero ahora está muy motivado para volver al ciclismo y por supuesto también se anima a realizar algún trote.

Today I had to do some regeneration work and I thought of inviting him to come for a jog and without hesitation the man was up for it.


El día de hoy debía realizar un trabajo de regeneración y se me ocurre invitarle para que venga a trotar un poco y sin dudarlo el hombre se animó.

We did two laps of the circuit to warm up and I really felt he was suffering, but as you can tell he is a warrior, he kept going despite the vicissitudes of training.


Dimos dos vuelta al circuito para entrar en calor y realmente sentí que lo estaba padeciendo, pero como se nota de que es un guerrero, siguió adelante pese a las vicisitudes de los entrenamientos.

Then we did some specific work, which consisted of a series of jumps to strengthen the quadriceps, which is always good for every athlete.


Luego hicimos algo de trabajo específico, que constaba de realizar una serie de saltos para fortificar la parte de cuádriceps que siempre viene bien para todo atleta.


Then we did some planks to jog a pseudo mountain in an accelerated way. A quite demanding work especially for the beginner friend but nothing that could not be done. The cardiovascular system rises abruptly and that sometimes is counterproductive but there were not many series so we did it satisfactorily.


Luego hicimos unas planchas para trotar de manera acelerada una pseudo montaña. Un trabajo bastante exigente sobre todo para el amigo principiante pero nada de que no se podía hacer. El sistema cardiovascular sube abruptamente y eso en ocasiones es contraproducente pero no fueron muchas las series así que lo hicimos de manera satisfactoria.


In short, we did some active regenerative work and we are ready for tomorrow to continue with the training sessions, which could be cycling or more kilometers of running.
We hope everyone has been moving and getting in shape, because there is nothing more beautiful than being in shape.

En definitiva realizamos un trabajo regenerativo de manera activa y estamos listos para el día de mañana poder seguir con los entrenamientos que pueden ser en bicicleta o más kilómetros de running.
