When I was scrolling through the news I came across this article and at first thought it was going to be from an Onion style organization. I completely understand the need for social distancing but seeing this was one of those weird reminders of the time we're in.

The good news is that we at least have the draft to look forward to. It's coming up on April 23rd so at least there will be something to discuss over the next couple weeks.

The question is will there even be a 2020 NFL season to play? We're having to do the draft from the basement of the commissioner's house. Who's to say that they'll even be able to play by this fall? I sure hope so!

While I do not follow up on American Football, I do hilariously sympathize with you when you mentioned thinking that the headline was from the Onion or something! Most of news these days make me feel like this, so true. Weird times indeed. I hope the virus clears up in time for the season!

LOL that’s one way of getting it done, it’s all admin in any case just shows what a big thing they used to make over something they could do from a basement

Wonder what happens to the contracts do they pay only once they start playing or will it kick in immediately? Sport must be losing money like it’s nobodies business right now

I'm wondering the same thing! If you don't know that your season is going to be played do you really give a rookie all that money for the chance?
