Former director of Anderlecht in jail

Yep, the former director of RSC Anderlecht, the record champion of Belgium, Herman Van Holsbeeck was detainen yesterday. He spent the night in jail, and still is. He is being questioned about laundering and receiving "black" money from transfers that were done from and to Anderlecht while he was director of sports there.
I know, nobody is guilty until proven so, but it is not usual to be detained in prison if there isn't sufficient evidence, especially not in Belgium where the judicial system is very complex, and usually in favour of suspects. So, there is smoke, and there is probably fire too.

Henrotay

It all started with the arrest of Christophe Henrotay, a very big and respected football agent, with very big names in his portfolio. Like Youri Tielemans, Thibaut Courtois and Yanick Carrasco. He is placed under arrest for active corruption, money laundering, and "gang" related issues. Herman Van Holsbeeck is under suspicion of receiving money under the table for transfers of player of Anderlecht with the cooperation of Christophe Henrotay. 7 million Euro in cash, a Ferrari, a yacht and a Range Rover were seized by the police.

A very stinky pot was opened once again, and I am very curious how this will end. But probably they will be released because of procedure issues, and will get nothing... That's just how it goes in Belgium, when you have money!
