Good that they're back!

I am glad that the Dutch are back at the stage where they belong. But I have watched some games of them, and they are a long way from the level they used to be at. With Van Persie, Van Nistelrooij, Sneijder, Vandervaart, etc... Or even further with Van Basten, Gullit, Rijkaard. They still have a few steps to take to be real contenders again, in my humble opinion. But on the other hand, at a tournament, anything can happen.

They have a great team with van Dijk, Wijnaldum, de Jong and de Ligt playing the TOP teams of Europe. I think there is a turnaround to better times. They need to stay consistent. Great last 10 minutes against N. Ireland might be a good point to bounce to the EURO 2020. I really wish to see them playing there, they even might play at their home ArenA.

I think that that with the current players they have, they can be a serious contender for the world cup. But I think 2022 will gonna be the year for Brazil.
