Nice piece of gear man! Thermal optics are really cool but still hard to justify the expense for me.

Yes, it took me awhile to justify as well. Timing just lined up. I had a rifle needing a scope (or red dot) and would have spent at least half this amount on a glass scope for it anyway so it wasn't as big a leap. The quick release is very nice on it, and allows for it to be the primary scope on that weapon, yet easily pop off and use on another rifle or handheld scanning. Now that I've cried over the price a little, I'm beating myself up more for having waited so long.
