EURO 2020 tipping challenge: England vs. Italy (bonus prize!)
Hi there my Hivean friends and followers!
After two amazing semi finals, the grand finale of EURO 2020 is here and I am excited to prepare a special tipping challenge for you on this occasion. The very final battle of the tournament will take place in London, UK where the home team of England will take on Italy in what promises to be a fascinating football spectacle.

Unlike the previous tipping challenges that I hosted in the past few weeks, this one will be a bit different. I am going to make the prizes more attractive for you as the winners, in addition to my full upvotes that they will get on their entries, will also share a prize pool of 10 Hive. But the format of the entries will be different too. More specific actually. There are 3 different ways to win the final game.
One of the teams wins in the normal time (90 minutes).
One of the teams wins in the extra time (the 30-minute extra time follows when the game results in a draw after the normal time).
One of the teams wins in the penalty shootout (the penalty shootout follows when even after the extra time, the result is still a draw).
Neither of the semi finals were decided in the normal time and it´s very possible that the finale will also need the extra time or even the penalties to determine the winner so please be specific with your tips guys. If you only submit a result (for example: "England - Italy 1:0"), it will be automatically considered as the result after the normal time. If you think one of the teams will win in the extra time, please specify that and don´t forget to mention the result after the normal time too. If you think one of the teams will win in the penalty shootout, please specify that and don´t forget to mention both the result after the normal time and after the extra time. No need to guess the actual result of the penalty shootout, you can just write something like: "England - Italy 1:1 after normal time, 2:2 after extra time, Italy wins after penalties".
I hope everything is clear. I expect a lot of entries in this round so let´s be as specific with the tips as possible so that only the best participants can be recognized and awarded ;)
The final match of EURO 2020 between England and Italy starts on Sunday, July 11, at 9 PM (CET), which is also the deadline for your entries. No editing after that.
You can start submitting your guesses in the comment section below from now until Sunday, July 11, 9 PM (CET). The next day in the morning, I will go through all the entries, give my full upvotes on the correct ones and distribute 10 Hive among their authors.

I didn't get any result right so far, but finals is mine!
1-0 for England after 90 minutes...
Tak nejdřív to vezmu tak, že v úvodních 90 minutách favorizuju Itálii, protože si myslim, že jsou fotbalovější mužstvo, hrají ve vysokým tempu a pokud dokážou dát jak první branku, tak si myslim, že to utkání zvládnou.
On the other side, čím déle je angličani dokážou držet na úzdě, tím větší budou mít šance na vítězství, protože mají širokej a mladej kádr, kterej by fyzicky měl utáhnout i další prodloužení. Navíc budou mít v zádech skoro vyprodaný Wembley...
Tak já to zkusim takhle:
Anglie 1:1 Itálie v základní hrací době a Anglie 2:1 Itálie po prodloužení
Ještě si tipnu, že Angláni nejdřív Italy zaskočí, ujmou se vedení a postupně přenechají taktovku špagetám, který vyrovnaj. V prodloužení ale začnou fyzicky uvadat, což bude voda na mlýn Southgateovcům, který to s pomocí vlastních fans nakonec zvládnou ještě před penaltovým rozstřelem.

Díky za vzorně vyplněný tip a zajímavou předzápasovou analýzu :D Uvidíme, jak moc se trefíš. Já svůj tip prozrazovat nebudu, abych třeba někoho neovlivnil, ale fandit budu spíše Italům :)
To já si troufám tvrdit, že většina lidí a osobně si myslim, že jsou i mírným favoritem :)
Myslím, že ty sympatie/antipatie dost ovlivnily i úlety anglických fanoušků (bučení při hymnách, "laser show" apod.)
Nevadí, málokterej vítěznej tým je zároveň oblíbenej :D

Hey guys, thank you everyone for your participation. To my surprise, nobody expected the finale to get in the penalty shootout but it actually did - Italy won the shootout and became the new European champions of football. Unfortunately, I cannot fully reward anyone here as the rules were clear and to win the contest, the tip would have had to include the penalty shootout so let me save those 10 Hive for some other sport tipping contest and give at least some smaller upvotes to everyone who guessed that Italy would win the game.
