Description from Strava:

Hello everyone and good afternoon 😁 This afternoon I decided to go to Argao again despite the overcast weather and the risk of rainfall. I didn't bring my camera bag with me this afternoon so I can go wild and go all the way to the heart of Argao 😁. The only reason why I don't really wanna get wet in the rain is my camera 😅

This post will also answer @hive-177745 question regarding the pink get-up. I wear my pink get-up when I bring my camera along with me coz I am building a name for myself in my local area as a photographer and so whenever I bring my camera along with me during ride I always wear my pink uniform 😂 Since I didn't bring my camera along with me... As you can see I am not wearing all pink but pink is still present though 🤣. Really I only have 5 get-ups and I always reserve 2 of them in case of events so in really I only have 3 sets to be used on a 7 day week so I have to sacrifice some days not wearing pink, still people can already recognize me just by my bike and helmet 🤣

Anyways before I went to Argao I stopped at my favorite pit stop in Baranggay Bagacay to buy some delicious buko juice/coconut juice. Whenever I go to Argao I always 100% of the time stop by here 😂 I need to gas up coz Argao is a long ride, about 16km I guess.

On my way to Argao was really uneventful... So I can't share anything to you guys...

When I arrived in Argao, I was surprised coz the sun came out lol. Now I regretted not bringing my camera along with me coz I thought it was going to rain 😩

No point in crying after spilled milk so instead of frowning about it I decided to enjoy short stay here. I took some photos of myself plus I did a tiktok dance as well 😂

Anyways my stay in Argao was short since I started way too late for this ride so I had only roughly 10 minutes of bliss in Argao before I set out to go home.

Roughly 2km to 3km from the heart of Argao I was in a crisis. I was so thirsty and my throat is really drying up. I didn't bring my bag with me which means no water for me. You can see my bike above and yes there is no space for a water bottle holder that is the reason why I wanted to buy a vest/bag just like what @dannewton used during his run 3 or 4 days ago which you can put a water bottle plus other things as well. I promise I will look for something similar to that vest coz I really really need it. Anyways I had no other choice coz there were no other stores nearby and the next store is probably miles away form here so I decided to just buy what was available which is a soda. I really don't drink soda anymore so I have forgotten that when you drink a sugar water (which is soda) it makes you even thirstier 😰 It did quench my thirst for sure but just a few minutes after drinking it my throat is dry again and my stomach is bloated with air. Thank you soda! ☠️

Luckily around 4km forward I was able to reach my 2nd favorite pit stop where I can buy myself some fresh cold water and so I did and man this saved me. My thirst is now gone and I feel really relieved phew 😊 I will never, ever drink soda ever again even if I am so thirsty coz it's useless to quench your thirst for a few minutes and suffer after lol. I really really need to do something about my water situation coz it really is quite bad lol. My area is not a city in which you can just buy water every few meters. In here the next store is probably miles away 😅 so you need to really bring in some water during rides.

I continued on and I finally arrived at my lovely town yay! I didn't go home right away though.

I stayed a little bit on our old wharf to chill and relax after such a long ride. I also need to test something out so I stayed around for a good 15 minutes before I went home. This is all for my afternoon ride today guys. Till next time 😉

Yep I would agree if you are cycling for that length of time, it definitely would be worth you planning ahead. Sure, you may be able to able to buy stuff during the ride if you are hungry or thirsty... but theres no harm in a bottle or snacks for when you need it

snacks are very important too! 🤣

Lovely pictures by the way. As a fellow photographer, its amazing (and slightly depressing) how good phone cameras are getting. And at least you will always have a phone with you to capture the moment.

I don't think the pictures are anything special but thanks anyways 😅 I'm just a new blood photographer and cyclist so I still have a lot to learn and possibly relearn lol.

I agree that phone cameras really are getting better and better which is good and bad at the same time. For people like me who owns an entry level bridge cam it is bad news coz phones now are producing much better photos than my bridge cam 😅🥺. For people who owns a professional grade dslr or mirrorless cameras then they shouldn't get worried coz they still have a huge advantage over phone cameras and it will probably stay that way for a couple of decades to come. Also good for people with less budget so now they have multipurpose gadget 😎

I don't really bring snacks with me but you are right it really is essential as well so might as well bring some in the future just in case 😁

Thanks for dropping by and for the follow cheers mate 😎
