Hello everyone 👋,
TGIF ✨ and a very warm welcome to my world 😊.As always I am so grateful for this day. It's been wonderful stepping it out 💯, now that it's almost bedtime 💤 let's quickly take a look at how my day has been and also share some of the trending stories. So I started the day with lots of brisk walking around the neighbourhood, today was a little warmer than yesterday which motivated me to keep going. Then I was back indoors for some resting and some of the little household chores here and there. Later in the afternoon I had to get something to cook from the shopping centre. Then back home I squeezed in the usual nap before the evening set in. Next came the slow paced evening walking session enjoying the cool breeze🍃. Throughout the day I have been following up on the trending news, that's next.
Locally, a rather quiet day except for the usual political shenanigans 😹, the respondents in the Supreme court case filed in their responses to the case launched against them. Over in Angola, the ruling party has a lead in the elections with the opposition rejecting the results😹.
Globally, Ukraine trending as iodine tablets were supplied to people living around the Zaporizhzhia just incase of anything. Elsewhere in the UK,strikes galore as many workers including barristers, refuse collectors downed their tools because of the low wages inspite of rising prices. Speaking of inflation, across the pong in the US, central bank governors meet to discuss inflation. Seems like interest rates will keep rising in many countries😱. Also trending the US justice department released a redacted affidavit of the search at Trump's home. Among what they removed were twenty five highly sensitive classified documents😹.
In crazy weather, Pakistan has declared a national emergency as flood death toll reached close to a thousand😢. My sincere condolences to the bereaved families.
