Hello everyone πŸ‘‹,
A very warm welcome to my report 😊, hopefully you are enjoying your weekend πŸ‘. As always I am glad you stopped by and shared part of your time with me πŸ‘.
As for me it has been an active and wonderful Sunday.
As usual, I kicked off the day early walking and jogging πŸƒ around the neighborhood. Being a Sunday virtually nobody was out there. Also all churches are having online services only😱.
I did enjoy that session πŸ’― and I was back indoors catching up with the latest news. I mostly watched comedies and health videos.
I have probably had enough of crypto and corona videos😹. No laughing matter but I can't sit around and sulk all day. The economy in the coming days is uncertain and I don't have a job anymore but God is in control. It will all work out in the endπŸ’―.
So in between, I handled the house work and a little pile of laundry.
It has been a largely cloudy day but the sun 🌞 shone through at times. I did enjoy another wonderful walk later in the afternoon before getting back indoors and into a much needed nap 😴.
I remember waking up feeling energetic and refreshed πŸ’―. Then I had a fantastic cup of tea β˜• as I continued watching some conspiracy theories 😜.
Later as the sun set l was out for my final walking. Mostly alongside the main road and then finished off in the neighborhood after it got dark.
I eventually made it back home safe and sound calling it a day.
That's pretty much how my day has been. Thank you for reading this far and your continued support πŸ™ and love πŸ’•.
Sending back that love πŸ’ž and lots of blessings πŸ‘ΌπŸ˜‡ to everyone.
As we begin a new week, I am wishing everyone all the best. Keep stepping and enjoying yourselves. Don't forget the important hygienic precautions. Bye bye πŸ’–πŸ’•πŸ’–

Yes... We are. Although my grandfather (Opa) passed away on Friday. He was 96 years of age and I'm missing his presence dearly. I will be a pallbearer at his funeral (I prefer to think about it as a celebration of life actually...) this coming Saturday. These are difficult times for my family.

Thank you for your care and concerns Eric.

Oh my goodness,my condolences to you and entire family for the loss of Opa. Death definitely brings pain to those left behind so I will be praying that God strengthens and comforts all of you.96 was a good ripe age and just like you I would think of it as a celebration.
Please cherish and remember the good memories you had with him. Uphold all the wonderful values he taught you, that is how he will always be a part of you.
Don't forget to thank God for the time he gave Opa to be here and ask Him to receive him well on the other side. Sending you and family lots of love and blessings, you will make it through :}

Thank you for your kind words Eric.

Your advice is appreciated. He had so many wonderful qualities and values that I too have made a part of my life. He was a man of action and a legacy builder. Remembering him is the way I can actively honor his memory and the way in which he lived his life. I hope to impart the values he taught me to my children's children just as he did.

My Opa continues on in my memories and I can only feel gratefulness for the time I got to shared with this great man. It's a reminder that everything worthwhile and significant happens in the present. I'm more mindful than ever of how the people in my life are. As well His life is a reminder for me to continue valuing my time and to be a man of action just like he was.

Thank you for reminding me of the practical ways in which I can find meaning within this difficult life event.
