Happy Sunday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. It's another 24 hours to be grateful for. Thank you for stopping by and hopefully your weekend is coming along nicely. For me it's been great and before bedtime let's quickly take a look at how my day has been and also share some of the trending stories I came across. Here we go again 💨.
So just like yesterday I was up early for the usual brisk walking 👣 and jogging 👟 around the neighborhood 🌲. As always the cool morning breeze 🍃 made it quite enjoyable 💯.
Next I was back indoors where I rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going. We are also had the Nairobi marathon. Kenyans shone in the Prague marathon 👏. Today was also Mother's day, shout out to all mothers out there🎉, not enough can be said for what mothers do for their children.
Globally, Ukraine still trending, US first lady made a surprise visit to Ukraine surprising the first lady there. Canadian prime minister Trudeau also stopped by Kyiv. The us embassy staff have also returned to Kyiv. Meanwhile Russia continued shelling in the east 😱. President Zelensky held virtual meetings with G7 leaders who agreed on more sanctions targeting Russian banking systems.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin dipped to 34k, another red day for most cryptos 😱. Keep hodling 💯 and let's see how the new week turns out.
I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day. Later in the afternoon I stopped by the shopping center for some cooking groceries. Walked around for a while before heading back home 🏡.
Next came the usual nap 💤. It was amazing and I woke up some time early evening feeling well rested 💯. Then I continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Trending in the Philippines, preparations are underway for tomorrow's general elections. The popular candidate is son of former dictator Ferdinand Marcos 😱. Elsewhere, Israeli forces have arrested two men involved in Thursday stabbings, they were hiding in a forest 😵.
Anyways, as the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. As always slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃.
