Hello everyone 👋,
Happy hump day 😎🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. We are bang in the middle of the week and the stepping continued unabated. Time to wrap things up and also share some of the trending stories I came across. As always thank you for reading and let's get started 💨.
I kicked off the day with a few rounds of brisk walking 👣 and jogging around the neighborhood 🌲. It was a beautiful sunny 🌞 morning as I made my way.
Next I was back indoors where I rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going. Campaigning in high gear as we head towards the general elections.
Globally, more political shenanigans as Turkey sought to block Finland and Sweden's application to join NATO . Claiming they harbor kurdish terrorists 😱. Elsewhere, in Ukraine, evacuation continued at the Azov steel plant, Russia claims up to a thousand soldiers have surrendered and the injured ones moved to hospital in Russian controlled areas 😵. Meanwhile, a Russian soldier has pleaded guilty of killing an unarmed civilian in the first war crime trial.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin fell back to 29k, some analysts are predicting further fall and sideways movement 😹. Let's keep hodling as we try and figure out where the bottom lies.
I did settle down to some crypto analysis videos and also handled the cleaning chores of the day.
Later in the afternoon I stopped by the city centre 🌲 for a few errands. Then headed back home 🏡.
Next, came the usual nap 💤 dreaming off until sometime early evening. I got up and continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Trending in Brussels, the EU unveiled a 210 billion euro plan to ditch Russian gas ⛽ and oil. Meanwhile, Spain's self exiled King Juan Carlos returned to the country after court inquiries were dropped, but the court of public opinion will still be judging him 😹. Elsewhere in Kyiv the US embassy reopened after close to three months. Kyiv is slowly coming back to normalcy 👏.
Anyways ,as the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕ and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. As always slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃.
