So as usual, I began the day with the fast paced morning session. A short session brisk walking 👣 and jogging 👟 around the neighborhood 🌲. I definitely enjoyed the cool morning breeze 🍃..
Then I can back indoors where I rested for a while before logging into my emails and trending news of the day.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going. Different political parties launched their manifestos before the upcoming August elections.
Globally, the NATO summit continued, the US pledging to stand by Ukraine however long the war takes👏. Russia withdrew from snake Island, making exports of grain out of Ukraine possible 👏. Elsewhere in Congo, Patrice Lumumba's gold tooth has been buried almost 61 years after he was assassinated and his body dissolved in acid by the Belgians😢. They've been keeping that tooth as a trophy all these years 😱.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin has slid to 18k, a very red day for the stock markets.
There are talks by some analysts of a 14k bottom. Anyways keep holding and let's see how things go.
After my house 🏡 chores , I stopped by the shopping center for some cooking groceries and then came home for the usual nap 💤. I woke up some time early evening and continued watching some of the earlier videos and also news.
Trending in Hong Kong, Chinese president is on a trip there as Hong Kong celebrate 25th independence anniversary.
In Sudan, the resilient protesters kept going but police killed seven😢. Elsewhere in the Philippines, Marcos has been sworn in 36 years after his father, a brutal dictator was removed from power. Remember his mom, Imelda was famous for shoe collection and lavish lifestyle 😹.
Let's see how he chooses to rule.
Anyways, as the evening set in, I had my ginger tea ☕and then stepped out for the sunset 🌇☀️🌅 walk. As always slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze 🍃.
