Happy hump day 😎🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. I have had another great day that am deeply thankful for. So we are bang in the middle of the week and the month too, steadily headed to December. Time to slow down and fill you in on how my day has been plus what caught my eye 👀 in the media streets. Here we go again, come on 💨.
So as usual I had two major walks just like yesterday, starting off with the fast paced brisk walk around the neighbourhood. Then I was back indoors for the usual household chores and a little bit of resting. The afternoon saw me walk to the shopping centre for some cooking groceries. As always I squeezed in my usual nap before evening set in. Then it was time for the slow paced evening walk enjoying the cool evening breeze🍃. It was drizzling when I came back indoors, now I hear full on rain. So in between the day I had been watching the trending stories on the news and also in crypto.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going. The president hosted Bill gates at the state house, I guess he is around for the charity work his foundation does in the rural areas. There have been some spooky conspiracy theories around him🙀.
Elsewhere, former Kenyan president is on a visit to the DR Congo, urging the warring parties to reconcile, remember the Congolese army has been fighting M23 rebels in the East which has led to displacement of thousands of people.
Globally, Ukraine trending, that 🚀 rocket that landed in Poland made headlines. NATO claiming that it came from the Ukrainian defense system that was countering Russian attacks. But Ukraine adamant that it was a strike from Russia 🙀. Russia of course denying.
Down in Bali Indonesia, the G20 summit came to an end. Leaders there condemning Putin's attacks on Ukraine. Calling for thorough investigation on the rocket that landed in Poland.
Elsewhere in Iran it's getting ugly, 3 protesters sentenced to death charged with killing a policeman🙀. About 19 more people facing the death penalty. Meanwhile a march in Tehran turned violent at the metro station. There were also reports of a gun attack in Izeh🙀.
Across the pond in the US, Former president Trump made the official announcement that he will be running in 2024. He wants to make America great again 😹. He has millions of die hard followers, so let's wait and see.
Finally, NASA's Artemis 1 lifted off for a 25 day exploratory journey around the moon 🌕. The aim is to get humans back to the moon by 2025 and then later on take people to Mars 💯
