Happy Sunday, Merry Xmas 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊.Hopefully you are fairing on well with the day and its festivities. As always I am truly happy and grateful for this day💯,many wanted to see it but didn't, so we are all blessed for another Xmas. Thank you for being here yet again and before bedtime, let's quickly take a look at how my day went and also some of the trending stories. Here we go again, come on 💨.
So just like yesterday, I kicked off with the fast paced morning session. Thoroughly enjoyed the cool morning breeze 🍃 as I made my way around the neighborhood 🌲. But it was a short walk ,am always lazy on Xmas day 😹. Then I was back indoors for some rest and the daily household chores. A little bit of youtube and then the afternoon saw me go out to the mall meeting with some family and friends for lunch. The food was amazing . Next came the refreshing nap💤. I woke up some time later in the evening and continued watching some you tube videos and news. I did finish off the day with the slow paced evening walk, a rather short one just to stretch out my legs. Now let's quickly take a look what has been trending in the media streets.
Locally, the Xmas mood was in the air.People were out at many venues enjoying themselves making merry.
Globally, the US trending as blizzards killed dozens and left many without power 😭. Some people were trapped in cars🙀 as temperatures plummeted drastically. The same heavy snowfall is happening up in Canada and also Japan.
Across the pond at the Vatican the Pope delivered his Xmas message urging for an end to the senseless war in Ukraine 💯. In the UK, following in his mother's footsteps, King Charles had his Xmas broadcast talking about what's going on in society.
Over in Afghanistan, four aid groups have opted to end operations in the country after the Taliban banned female staff🙀. Remember ninety percent of population are not getting enough food and they definitely need these humanitarian organizations.
Finally, China is to stop publishing daily covid figures of cases. The cases are high but no deaths reported for the past seven days👋.
