Hello everyone 👋,
Happy Sunday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. Just another ordinary day and the stepping continued unabated. I can't believe we are nearly through with February 🙀. As always I am truly happy and grateful for this day💯. Thank you for being here yet again and before bedtime, let's quickly take a look at how my day went and also some of the trending stories. Here we go again, come on 💨.
So just like yesterday, I kicked off with the fast paced morning session. Thoroughly enjoyed the cool morning breeze 🍃 as I made my way around the neighborhood 🌲. Then I was back indoors for some rest and the daily household chores. A little bit of youtube and cooking then the afternoon saw me go out to the shopping centre for some fruits and veggies. Next came the refreshing nap💤. Then I woke up some time later in the evening and continued watching some of the earlier videos and news, There was also some interesting and exciting football matches going on. Man United fans are definitely over the moon🌕 with that win over Newcastle😹.
I did finish off the day with the slow paced evening walk enjoying the cool evening breeze.
Now let's quickly take a look what has been trending in the media streets.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going. Over in Nigeria, vote counting going on after yesterday's voting. Voting went on in some areas that experienced delays yesterday 🙀.
Globally, Israel trending as two Israeli settlers were shot dead in their car😭near Nablus in the occupied west Bank. The culprit still on the run. That led to Israeli settlers attacking and burning 3 Palestinian homes and cars🙀.
Tensions so high in the area but talks have been held in Jordan. The joint statement said that Israel have agreed to stop authorization of settler outposts in the occupied west Bank for six months.
Trending in Europe, at least 81 people survived after a boat carrying more than 100 migrants crashed in stormy weather off the Italian southern coast. Sadly at least 59 were killed 😭. My sincere condolences to the bereaved families. Something needs to be done on this migrant issue.
