TGiF 🍷🍻 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. The weekend is upon us, I have had a great day. I am also truly grateful for this day, it's a blessing to be alive in this day and age💯. I thank you all of you for stopping by yet again. Time to wrap things up and quickly take a look at how my day has been plus share some trending stories. Let's take it away💨.
So as always my day began with a little bit of stretching then a few rounds of brisk walking around the neighbourhood. That fresh morning breeze🍃 was so wonderful. Then I was back indoors where I rested then got on with the little daily chores around the house. In between I caught up with the latest news and watched some crypto youtube. My next walking came later in the afternoon to the shopping centre for groceries. Then I was back indoors for the usual nap. I woke up feeling refreshed some time early evening. watched the news then it was time for the sunset walk. As always slow paced around the neighbourhood and park. So that was the stepping and now let's quickly look at what trended in the media.
Locally, nothing much happening except the usual political shenanigans 😹, concerns raised over continuing drought in parts of the country. The high cost of living saw some protests by the opposition in the western part of the country.
Globally, in a landmark deal, Saudi Arabia and Iran have agreed to resume diplomatic ties and to reopen embassies within two months🎊. The deal was signed in Beijing, China have done a wonderful job. Let's hope they will accomplish the same with Russia and Ukraine 💯. Remember they have a ten point peace plan for Ukraine.
Let's go to Europe where another deal was signed between France and the UK. British PM Rishi Sunak was in talks with his French counterpart Macron in Paris. It's a migration deal where the UK will pay France $570 million over three years, this for financing a detention site among other things to deter illegal migration.
Elsewhere Italy launched rescue for hundreds of refugees on boats🙀.
Across the pond in the US, silicon valley bank has been seized by FDIC as depositors panick pulled cash🙀.
The silvergate bank collapse has fueled crypto crash as Bitcoin and other cryptos fell🙀. Just when I thought the bottom was in and looking forward to the bull market. Analysts saying we may fall further 😡. But look at it as another chance to buy in at cheap price😹.
