Happy Sunday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. It's another 24 hours to be grateful for and as the day fades away, am raring to go with my stepping activities of the day including some of the trending stories I came across. Thank you for being here and let's get cracking 💨.
So just like yesterday, I kicked off with the fast paced morning session. Thoroughly enjoyed the cool morning breeze 🍃 as I made my way around the neighborhood 🌲. But it was a short walk. Then I was back indoors for some rest and the daily household chores. A little bit of youtube and cooking then the afternoon saw me go out to the shopping centre for some groceries. Next came the refreshing nap💤. I woke up some time later in the evening and continued watching some of the earlier videos and news.
I did finish off the day with the slow paced evening walk. Now let's quickly take a look what has been trending in the media streets.
Locally, the usual political shenanigans kept going😹, otherwise a quiet day.
Globally, the G7 summit in Hiroshima Japan continued. President Zelensky met most of the leaders and has called on them to ensure Russia is the last aggressor.
He further clarified that Russian forces were in Bakmut but the city is not occupied as fighting still on.
Let's go to Europe, voters in Greece have cast their ballots in the first round of parliamentary elections. The ruling conservative party are leading early results with 40% of the votes🎉 congratulations 🎊.
Israel trending as Palestinians have condemned the Israeli security minister's incursion at Al Aqsa mosque. He caused further outrage when he said his incursion proves who's in charge in Jerusalem🙀.
Over in crypto land, bitcoin still sideways at 26k, lets see how this last week of May goes.
