Hello everyone 👋,

Happy hump day 😎🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. It's been another wonderful and active day: time has really flown and as it draws to a close, am raring to go with my stepping activities for the day and some of the trending stories. As always thank you for reading and let's dive in 💨.
So as usual I had two main walking sessions. First was the fast paced morning session, brisk walking and jogging around the neighbourhood🌲. It was a warm sunny 🌞 morning as I made my way. After the morning walk I had some household chores then later in the afternoon a little bit of walking at the park. It was a little cloudy but I enjoyed the walk
I squeezed in my usual afternoon nap and then later in the evening I had the usual sunset walk sunset 🌇, slow paced enjoying the cool evening breeze🍃 .
So what's been trending in the media streets? Locally, the usual political shenanigans 😹 kept going. The doctors' strike is still on as they demand better pay.
Globally, Gaza trending as Israeli forces remain inside Al shifa hospital and are blocking roads to the medical complex. Israel continued to bombard Al shifa and surrounding areas using tanks and artillery🙀. 90 Palestinians have been killed and more than 100 detained😭.
Elsewhere, an Israeli airstrike targeted a car in Jenin in the occupied west bank killing 3 Palestinians😿. There were confrontations between mourners and Palestinian authority at the funeral of the three killed.
Also trending, US secretary of state Anthony Blinken, is on his 6th middle east diplomatic tour since the war started on October 7 last year. He first stopped by Saudi Arabia then will go to Egypt then Israel. All with an aim of cooling tensions, getting aid to Palestinians and trying for a lasting ceasefire in Gaza.
Let's go to Europe, Ukraine trending as its drone strikes in Russian border town of Belgorod has killed 16 people😭. Authorities there have had to evacuate people in some areas to safer zones.
Ireland trending as the PM, Leo Varadkar, has resigned just two years into his second term🙀. He sighted personal and political reasons for his decision.
Across the pond in the US, the federal reserve will keep the interest rate unchanged at 5.25%, the highest it has ever been🙀. Let them keep printing fiat, crypto and btc are here to absorb it all😹
Also trending, the US has released the strongest ever car pollution rules in push for electronic vehicles transition. The new environmental regulations fall short of more ambitious goals previously set by the Biden administration.
Finally, Snoop Dogg, Eminem and 50 Cent united to honour Dr. Dre. The award winning hip hop producer was presented with a star 🌟 on the Hollywood walk of Fame. Congratulations 🎉🎊 to Dr. Dre, he's been at it for years, he deserves it .
