Happy Thursday 🎉 and a very warm welcome to my world 😊. Hopefully you are having a great day, mine has been amazing and as always I thank you for stopping by yet again 👏. My actifit app is still not working but as usual I had two main walking sessions during the day. The morning fast paced session and the slow paced evening walk. In between the day I had a quick dash to the shopping centre for some groceries.
And of course I had to squeeze in a little afternoon nap along the way😹.
Let's quickly take a look at what's trending in the media streets. Locally, the hotly contested election results are still trickling in. The top two candidates still neck to neck, we are still not sure which of the two will be our next president😱. We are slowly learning who the new governors, senators and legislators are. Hopefully by the weekend we get a clear indication.
Globally, an emergency UN meeting had to be convened regarding the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant in Ukraine. Both sides counter claiming that the other is firing missiles at the nuclear plant, definitely missiles and nuclear is no joke and could lead to a catastrophe. Let's hope both sides reach an understanding regarding that nuclear plant. Meanwhile, fighting raged on in the Eastern Ukrainian town of Pisky, Russia doing the most.
Elsewhere, in Afghanistan, an influential Taliban leader was killed by an isil suicide bomber, the wicked bomber wore the bomb in a prosthetic leg 😱 and detonated it once close to his target. In crazy weather, wild fires are sprouting in the Iberian peninsular especially in France where firefighters have been battling the blazes. In the UK a drought has been declared as the source of Thames river started drying out, the heatwave has been intense this year.
Over in crypto land bitcoin is slightly bullish staying above twenty four thousand dollars on the back of yesterday's CPI news from the US. Lets see how the next week goes but do keep hodling💯.
