En los años donde el Covid produjo que la gente se quedara en casa o saliera poco, una de las actividades que resurgió con fuerza, o al menos en mi país, fue el ciclismo. Yo también aproveche esa época para realizar esa actividad. Si hubiera visto este anime, en ese momento, creo que mi afición hubiera sido mayor. Basado en el manga del mismo nombre de Wataru Watanabe. El anime salió en el 2008, siendo su director Osamu Nabeshima.

In the years when the Covid caused people to stay at home or go out little, one of the activities that resurfaced strongly, at least in my country, was cycling. Sinopsis: Sakamichi Onoda es un otaku aficionado a ir a Akihabara, para ello recorre diariamente su distancia en bicicleta para ahorrar dinero. Esto sin querer lo vuelve un candidato potencial para pertenecer al equipo de ciclismo de su escuela. Con ello vendrán competiciones y nuevas amistades.

Synopsis: Sakamichi Onoda is an otaku who likes to go to Akihabara, for this he rides his bicycle every day to save money. This unwittingly makes him a potential candidate to join his school's cycling team. With this will come competitions and new friendships.

Es un anime de bastantes capítulos, yo voy ya por la 2da temporada viéndola por Netflix. Tiene muchos de los clásicos tópicos de las series deportivas, desde un equipo con distintas personalidades, rivales variopintos desde los serios hasta los violentos. También se recuerda el pasado de diversos personajes y sus propios motivos para competir.

It's an anime with quite a few episodes, I'm already on the 2nd season watching it on Netflix. It has many of the classic topics of sports series, from a team with different personalities, colorful rivals from the serious to the violent. It also recalls the past of various characters and their own motives for competing.

Me gusta el desarrollo de algunos personajes, como el de Akira Midousuji, un rival que tiene toda la apariencia del villano de la serie, pero que logra mostrar muchas habilidades para la competición y por mi parte roba gran protagonismo en la serie según va avanzando. Esto hace relucir el punto negativo de la serie, que muchas de las victorias o logros realizados por el equipo protagonista u otros, se sientan con poco peso, como si solo tuvieran el poder de la trama, y no muestran un mayor merecimiento.

I like the development of some characters, such as Akira Midousuji, a rival who has all the appearance of the villain of the series, but manages to show many skills for competition and for my part steals great prominence in the series as it progresses. This brings out the negative point of the series, that many of the victories or accomplishments made by the protagonist team or others, feel with little weight, as if they only have the power of the plot, and show no greater deservedness.

Hay momentos de comedia. No esperes encontrar algo de romance, que no vas a encontrar nada. La animación es del 2008, pero es aceptable, los momentos tensos o resolutivos, están bien logrados. La música suena todo igual, así que no funciona directamente.

There are moments of comedy. Don't expect to find any romance, you're not going to find any. The animation is from 2008, but it's acceptable, the tense or decisive moments are well done. The music sounds all the same, so it doesn't work directly.

En general es un anime para los fans del ciclismo y las competiciones entre equipos deportivos, como The Prince of Tennis. Para el resto, no lo recomendaría.

Overall it is an anime for fans of cycling and competitions between sports teams, like The Prince of Tennis. For the rest, I wouldn't recommend it.
