Siempre que se ve a los grandes deportistas, se mencionan sus logros personales y la personalidad que tienen para lograrlo; sin embargo, no es solo el individuo único, sino incluso la familia y amigos que han servido como apoyo o guía, para llegar a donde están. Sinopsis: Richard Williams es el padre de varias hijas. Dos de ellas, Venus y Serena Williams, las han ido desarrollando como tenistas. Él tiene un plan, volverlas profesionales de primer nivel. Para ello tendrá que pasar por diversas vallas que hacen difícil tal cometido.

Synopsis: Richard Williams is the father of several daughters. Two of them, Venus and Serena Williams, have been developing them as tennis players. He has a plan, to turn them into top professionals. To do so, he will have to cross several hurdles that make it difficult.

La historia tiene temas de superación personal y familiar, en donde todos trabajan para lograr ciertos fines. Se sueltan bastantes ideas que se pueden emular, como el planear es importante o el mantenerse enfocado. También hay ciertos conflictos o problemas que harán dinámica la trama, volviéndola entretenida.

The story has themes of personal and family improvement, where everyone works to achieve certain goals. There are many ideas that can be emulated, such as planning is important or staying focused. There are also certain conflicts or problems that will make the plot dynamic, making it entertaining.

Es interesante ver que también se hace una crítica a los torneos de alta competencia juniors(de menores de edad) en ciertos deportes, y cómo estos pueden alienar y agotar bastante a niños y adolescentes.

Las actuaciones en general son excelentes. Resalta sin duda Will Smith, caracterizando de la mejor manera a un personaje particular como Richard. En cierto puntos nos recuerda a su actuación en “The Pursuit of Happyness”. Me gusta también el trabajo en producción, en mostrar los 90´s en Compton, California.

The performances in general are excellent. Will Smith stands out without a doubt, characterizing in the best way a particular character like Richard. At certain points he reminds us of his performance in "The Pursuit of Happyness". I also like the production work, showing the 90's in Compton, California.

En general es una película entretenida, que muestra cómo los padres influyen bastante en generar una buena formación y hábitos en sus hijos. Recomendable.

In general it is an entertaining film, which shows how parents influence a lot in generating a good formation and habits in their children. Recommended.
