Polina Rahimova Puts Up A Match Winning Display As Sesi Bauru Triumph Over Sao Paulo Bauru In The Brazilian Superliga

A few days ago, i wrote here about Polina's arrival to the brazilian women's volleyball superliga and how she took it by storm hitting 45 points in two games and now she's done it again.

Most players do take time to settle when they get to a new environment, like try to understand the instructions of the coaches, the movements of fellow teammates but that hasn't been the the case for Azerbaijani international, Polina Rahimova as she's shown an astonishing level of adaptation.

Yesterday's game between her team, Sesi Bauru W and Sao Paulo Bauru was clear proof of how influential she could be in deciding games for her team as she secured 29 points for the home side which proved to be decisive and instrumental enough in settling matters during the clash. Her performances earned her the Most Valued Player award after the clash.

The game ended 3-1 (17-25, 25-17, 25-20, 25-18) in favour of the home side of Sesi Bauru. They weren't at their best during the first set but got their rhythm back from the second to the last set. So far, they look strong in the competition but still need to improve if they wish to displace top teams like SESC-RJ W and Praia Clube W who are yet to concede defeat since the start of the campaign.

Polina Rahimova is no doubt, one of the very best there is in the women's volleyball space, at least for the moment. Her performances this season has been top-notch and deserves praises, i guess i am now a fan of Polina Rahimova, Lol.
