Modifying my dryer for improvement
Dear friends,
Yesterday, I was modifying my dehydraor so that it is smaller and efficient. I would like to get it's temperature to the point where I can dry meat also. The temperature for drying meat can be up to 60 °C (140°F) and I think if my dehydraor is smaller than the current size, the temperature would increase I think. This dehydraor is 2x2.5x4 ft by size and now, I will use half the size of it. To to it, I make some frames inside, will move the heaters up and install for racks. And I will put wheels to it so that it is easily movable. I intend to dry bacon, medicinal, seasoning herbs and Stevia.
(Above photo) I put inner lower rack and there I will installed my heaters. I will use the upper part for drying purposes.
(Above photo) I will use prorated tin sheet to diffuse the heat. The sheet is curved a little bit upwards.
(Above photo) I will use bamboo trays for holding meat, herbs ,etc. that I want to dry.
(Above photos) I will put wheels for the mobility and the dehydrator is digitally controlled.
That's my activity for yesterday.
