My Actifit Report Card: February 28 2024

Dear friends,

Yesterday, I tried to complete assignment task and was able to submit it at night. I revised what I have learnt and wrote the discussion assignment. I still have many things that I need to improve in some aspects like in outlining and presenting important points, fluency and cohesion in writing. I hope I will be able to improve in those aspects by practicing and writing more.

During breaktime, I did house chores - sweeping and mobbing kitchen floor because it tends to get dirty. And I continued on building another round table. Because of electricity blackouts, it is not so convenient to do tasks that need electricity because it can disrupt my momentum of me working.

Yesterday, I didn't feel well so I didn't go for cycling and physical exercises. I got a little headache and fatigue, which meant I needed some rest. In the afternoon, I helped my mother prepare chapatti for evening snack. We had it in the evening; it was really delicious.

In the evening, I have a class on "Governance and Federalism". There, I learnt the tree waves of democracy, a concept proposed by Samuel P. Huntington. I had a chance to learn the three pillars of democracy, which are majority rule, minority right and individual freedom. We also had a chance to discuss what we thought was democracy, how we manage majority rule, minority rights while not restricting much individual freedom and should we fight for or defend democracy. What I learnt from yesterday class was rewarding to me because I did not use to think about those topics and subjects at length before.

Those were some of the activities for yesterday.
