My Actifit Report Card: March 14 2024

Dear friends,

Yesterday evening, I went cycling to the park near downtown and walked about 0.3 miles inside the park. The park was renovated recently giving access to the people to recreate and walk inside. It was a pleasant evening with nice atmosphere there. There were more than a few people visiting there.

In the morning, I did house chores - sweeping and mobbing kitchen floor. I also made liquid soap for general purpose. I stirred the soap with a DC motor. It was about 32 liter and we can use it for about four to five months.

And yesterday, I assembled electric timer circuits to use at the mediation center to power on the water heater. There, electricity power is very low and if we open the heater in day time, there can be voltage drop so we intend to turn it on at night time with a timer. Now, timers are out of stock from local shops, so I decided to build one. This one is a prototype and if it is working well, I will build another one. I build it using a Node MCU with an RTC and a solid state relay. I used RTC so that I can use it offline with having to fetch time data from NTP. I hope to finish and test it today.

Other time, I did assignment for my MBA programme and I submitted discussion assignment early in this morning at around 1:00 AM. What I realized is that I need reduce some other activities and try to finish it sooner next time.

And yesterday evening, there was public administration class and yesterday, it covered how we can manage modern state and plural society. There can be many difficulties in managing diversity because a citizen can have many identities and their identities could be fluid. Then, I learnt "diversity vs pluralism" and 4 models of diversity management. Finally, I learnt parliamentary system vs presidential system. I also learnt the important of social welfare in establish our country. And I noted that privatization could play an important role in boosting a country economy although there could be some setbacks that we needed to address.

Those are some activities for yesterday.
