My Actifit Report Card: April 11 2024

Dear friends,

Recently, I was contracted with flue and it took almost five days to recover from it. However, until yesterday, I felt uneasiness and tensions in my body muscles although I did not have fever anymore. It was the worse feeling I had experience so far - I was not able to sleep well due to the muscle pain and headaches when I got the flue. It was said flue had no medicine to cure; I had to rely on my immune system to fight back the virus. Although I have had flue vaccine, the strain that I had got must be different from the one I took vaccination for.

So, because I have recovered from the flue (I felt less muscle pain and uneasiness), I went out for a walk to day evening in a park near my home. I drove there first, which is about one mile distance from my home. There, I walked about one mile distance; it was a fine evening. Now, with the El Niño and heat waves, the summer heat is unbearably hot. I was able to get out for walk only in the later evening.

Yesterday morning, I was able to meditate for about forty minutes. Other times, I wrote assignment for my public administration course from SPGA - I have two pending assignments now and am trying to finish the first one today. And during break times, I did house chores - sweeping and mobbing floors. Yesterday, I set up small submersible pump for water circulation for the fish pond with a small pump and 50W solar panel. The water circulation pump will operate when there is sunlight on the solar panel.

Those are some of the activities for yesterday.
