Hello all sports lovers! With the end of the national team season last week, we reminded once again that the club season will start soon. I have to admit that in volleyball I like the club season much more than the national team season. Italian League for men, Italian League and Turkish League for women are really enjoyable.

Almost all the teams have been announced now. In some countries, the league season has even started. Agnieszka Kakolewska became the first MVP of the season in the Polish League. She is the former captain of Chemik Police and the Poland women's national team. He no longer captains either team, and no reason was given. Anyway, today I want to talk about something more exciting than that. There are two big tournaments in the club season that I find exciting. One is the Club World Championship and the other is the Champions League. The Club World Championship will be played at the end of the year. But the Champions League is a longer process. This week, lots have been drawn and it has been determined which groups the teams will take place in.

Club season is always more competitive in men's volleyball. Because we often encounter the struggles of equal teams. But this is not the case in women's volleyball. Star players are the top scorers of the biggest teams. This means that there are only a few teams at the top and match results are predicted in advance. Except in extreme cases, the results do not change much. I think the groups of men are evenly dispersed. Each group has at least two favorite teams. But I think especially E group will be very exciting. The matches of Perugia, Trentino and Fenerbahce excite me. I think Perugia and Trentino will win from this group.

For women, the most popular clubs in the world are scattered into groups. Vakıfbank and Imoco are unrivaled in their respective groups. I also find Fenerbahçe Opet lucky in this regard. They're not a great team, but their only big rival in their group is Dinamo Kazan. I think they will easily beat Kazan. We used to watch Turkish teams Eczacıbaşı, Vakıfbank and Fenerbahçe in the Champions League. But this year, there is THY instead of Eczacıbaşı. THY has made very useful changes in its staff and I think these changes will benefit. I think the hardest group this year is group C. This group includes Novara, THY, Dinamo Moscow and Dukla Liberec. Novara and THY are teams that are at the same level as each other in terms of power. That's why I think there will be a lot of competition between them. Dinamo Moscow is not the favorite of the group, but it is a team that has participated and won this tournament many times before. This year is going to be really exciting.

Herkese merhaba spor severler! Geçen hafta milli takım sezonunun sona ermesiyle birlikte kulüp sezonunun yakın zamanda başlayacak olduğunu bir kez daha hatırlamış olduk. İtiraf etmeliyim ki voleybolda kulüp sezonunu milli takım sezonundan çok daha fazla seviyorum. Erkeklerde İtalya Ligi, kadınlarda ise İtalya Ligi ve Türkiye Ligi gerçekten çok zevkli.

Artık neredeyse tüm takımların kadroları belli oldu. Hatta bazı ülkelerde lig sezonu başladı bile. Polonya Liginde sezonun ilk MVP'si Agnieszka Kakolewska oldu. Kendisi Chemik Police ve Polonya kadın milli takımının eski kaptanı. Artık iki takımda da kaptanlık yapmıyor ve bir sebep de belirtilmedi. Her neyse bugün bunun hakkında değil daha heyecanlı bir konu hakkında konuşmak istiyorum. Kulüp sezonunda bana heyecanlı gelen iki büyük turnuva var. Biri Dünya Kulüpler Şampiyonası bir diğeri ise Şampiyonlar Ligi. Dünya Kulüpler Şampiyonası bu yılın son zamanlarında oynanacak. Ama Şampiyonlar Ligi daha uzun bir süreç. Bu hafta kura çekildi ve takımların hangi gruplarda yer alacağı belli oldu.

Erkek voleybolunda kulüp sezonu her zaman daha çekişmeli geçiyor. Çünkü birbirine denk takımların mücadeleleriyle çok sık karşılaşıyoruz. Ama kadın voleybolunda durum böyle değil. Yıldız oyuncular en büyük takımların en skorer isimleri. Bu da zirvede sadece birkaç takım olmasına ve maç sonuçlarının önceden tahmin edilmesine sebep oluyor. Ekstrem durumlar haricinde sonuçlar pek fazla değişmiyor. Bence erkeklerin grupları dengeli bir şekilde dağılmış. Her grubun en az iki favori takımı var. Ama özellikle E grubunun çok heyecanlı olacağını düşünüyorum. Perugia,Trentino ve Fenerbahçe takımlarının maçları beni heyecanlandırıyor. Bu gruptan Perugia ve Trentino'nun galip çıkacağını düşünüyorum.

Kadınlarda ise dünyanın en gözde kulüpleri gruplara dağılmış durumda. Vakıfbank ve Imoco kendi gruplarında rakipsizler. Ayrıca Fenerbahçe Opet'i de bu konuda şanslı buluyorum. Harika bir takım değiller ama gruplarında tek büyük rakipleri Dinamo Kazan. Kazan'ı rahatlıkla yeneceklerini düşünüyorum. Genellikle Türk takımlarından Eczacıbaşı,Vakıfbank ve Fenerbahçe'yi Şampiyonlar Ligi'nde izlerdik. Ama bu sene Eczacıbaşı yerine THY var. THY kadrosunda çok faydalı değişiklikler yaptı ve bu değişikliklerin faydasını göreceğini düşünüyorum. Bence bu sene en zor grup C grubu. Bu grupta Novara,THY,Dinamo Moscow ve Dukla Liberec var. Novara ve THY güç olarak birbiri ile aynı seviyede olan takımlar. Bu yüzden aralarındaki rekabetin fazla olacağını düşünüyorum.Dinamo Moscow ise grubun favorisi değil ama daha önce defalarca kez bu turnuvaya katılmış ve kazanmış bir takım. Bu sene gerçekten heyecanlı olacak.
