Hello to everyone! I hope you are well and enjoying yourself. I think we have left behind an active week. Especially volleyball, which I will talk about today, was extremely active.

This year's national team season in Europe for women has come to an end. With the end of the European Championship, we said goodbye to the national teams for a year. Honestly, the results weren't quite what I expected and a different medal standings than I had anticipated. I didn't particularly think that Turkey would win a bronze medal.

I want to review two matches that surprised me. The first match is the semi-final match of Serbia and Turkey. In this match, where the winner will reach the final, Serbia was the winner. What amazes me is that Serbia played a real team game. If you are a follower of this branch, you know the situation in Serbia this year. Mihajlovic had a bad season and was later injured. That's why there is only one name left to stand out. That's Tijana Boskovic. The gameplay is all about Boskovic. Maja sets most of the passes to Boskovic. On the Turkish side, there were Hande and Ebrar who had a very good tournament in this tournament. It was exciting for the two teams to meet. In fact, many people thought that Turkey would win this match, which was the rematch of the 2019 final, because Serbia was in a bad situation. But that didn't happen.

Serbia played the best game of the year for itself, I think. They had good team dynamics and were very dominant in some parts of the game. It was also a big plus that they made fewer mistakes. On the Turkish front, I think that the mistakes of the trainers are at the forefront. Hande was not in a good mood, but remained on the field. Maybe Meliha could have been more helpful, but they didn't try it. Like I said, I think it's a trainer's fault. At the end of the day, Serbia won and advanced to the final. Their opponent in the final was Italy, the rising team of recent years.

Another match I wanted to examine was the final match between Italy and Serbia. The duo faced each other in the last Olympic games and Serbia was the winner. Italy was not very bright in the Olympic games. Especially the star player of the team Egonu, was very different. However, she must have learned from this that her Egonu was very well prepared for the European Championship.

We all knew that the star players of both teams would be at the forefront throughout the match. It's really enjoyable to watch Egonu and Boskovic's duel. However, especially after the Turkey match, everyone thought that Serbia would prepare very well and would win the final. But that didn't happen. Serbia easily lost to Italy. Just like when Italy lost to Serbia in the Olympics.

Many people were delighted that Italy had won. Because some Serbian volleyball players have very disturbing attitudes. Underestimating the opponent and looking down on the opponent attracts a lot of reaction. Also, the smug statements made by Serbian coach Zoran Terzic before the match were pretty scary. I think we should be impartial no matter what happens when it comes to sports.

Finaldeki rakibi ise son yılların yükselen ekibi İtalya oldu.
