SmartBCH spotlights: Konra and the tokenomics of the future
I meet amazing people and discover new projects every day. I enjoy building trust and collaboration that will enhance the use of Bitcoin Cash, and SmartBCH.
Konra is one of the above, a token with unique tokenomics and spoiler alert... a project that will become a multi token ecosystem in the future, where each token added will have unique use cases and will be just as thoughtfully created and nurtured like I did with Konra.
Before we dive into tokenomics, let me announce that from today, KONRA and the @Empress are official #Club1BCH ambassadors! The partnership will work towards the development or social and crypto related aspects of the Bitcoin Cash community.
The Unique Tokenomics of Konra
If you check marketcap.cash, you will immediately notice how unique the KONRA is! With the smallest market supply, at only 900 tokens, KONRA is the most valuable SEP-20 token.
I had a look at the unique tokenomics, and I understood the reason why KONRA has value. The token's low supply makes it a low cap gem, and the absence of a pre-sale or ICO made it more precious.
I went through the @Empress to fully understand the hard work and effort put into the development of this BCH gem. Behind the scenes, the KONRA concept was formed after researching other tokens. The research was done not to create a similar token, but to create a totally different token.
KONRA was created to match a small community, creating a top value since creation. The supply had to be low to maintain a higher demand, and the genesis mint was even lower then anyone expected.
Most people won't understand this aspect until they see it in action -- let's just say if you don't do everything completely right you'll fail as it's like threading a needle while jumping out of an airplane. That's not an exaggeration either and this article barely covers the tip of the iceberg of just how many things must align properly to make it work. I've seen several projects struggle with various aspects of this, as having a low supply builds a quick wall that the project has to overcome very quickly in order to thrive.
My understanding is that the KONRA tokenomics are hard to fully assimilate, as the creator highlighted that the genesis was complex and "a dozen things had to work simultaneously at the very beginning in order to do this properly" and luck was also involved. Mistakes where made as the BCH bridge wasn't functional and the Bitcoin Cash required for the KONRA creation had to be moved manually.
The token value started to raise and this created expensive liquidity pools. This may be a good thing for holders but not so good for the creator.
The next step towards greatness was decentralization. The genesis supply was only 100 KONRA and airdropping shards of tokens wouldn't fit the purpose. The airdrops and liquidity provisions were done manually, hard work that increased the tokens value and created interest from the community. The balance was fragile, as a high amount of sells will dump a price and large purchase will create Konra whales.
SmartBCH grew and Konra grew along. EROS and BeachSwap rug pulls hit Konra at the core but the decentralization continued. So did the airdrops...
The leap of faith was repaid as Konra started to trade and trend on SmartBCH. Some added the airdrop in liquidity pools and the gem started to shine. The additional minting is unique as well, with a slow scale up that will maintain the supply and demand balance.
The whole chain of events created a token that is decentralized since the beginning, and that will become more decentralized with time. The unique tokenomics makes Konra resistant to whale movements and market manipulation, and creating an organic community not affected by FOMO and hype.
The success will increase the use of both SmartBCH and Bitcoin Cash, and will help introducing new people to SmartBCH DeFi. The slow minting and distribution will generate organic growth, and #Club1BCH will be part of the organic growth.
KONRA & Club1BCH
If you know me, you know that my work behind the scenes never stops. A simple chat on Twitter evolved to an ongoing collaboration between #Club1BCH and the KONRA project. The first results of the partnerships are sponsorships for the Fantasy Football competitions.
The UEFA Champions League Tournament already had two @SmartBCH tokens integrated, with the top managers of the round receiving $AxieBCH and $Kitten. @Empress adds KONRA in the reward pool, with 0.5 KONRA for the round managers and 1.5 KONRA at the end of the season.
Round 2 brought some changes as the league was renamed AxieBCH Arena - after the sponsorship from the Axie Infinity Gaming Guild. You can apply for ++AxieBCH scholarships++ and become an Axie Infinity player. This sponsorship came with a 500 $AxieBCH tokens as a prize for the top manager for each round of the group stage and 1000 $AxieBCH for the winner of the competition. With his results in round 5 of the Champions League, @Kike9781 was the first $KONRA winner.
KONRA also joins the Premier League Fantasy Football Tournament, a competition that reached 103 participants. This competition was sponsored 100% by the #Club1BCH members, however ... KONRA is now joint sponsor. We talk about a huge competition and this is why the @Empress is giving higher prizes.
The manager of the month will receive 0.5 KONRA, and the Christmas bonus for the top manager will be 2 KONRA.
More tokens will be distributed at the end of the end of the tournament, as the winner of the Premier League tournament will also receive 1 KONRA, the 2nd place to receive 0.75 KONRA and the 3rd place to receive 0.5 KONRA.
You think that's all? Not even close.. as those that will finish the league between 21st and 25th will also receive 0.25 KONRA.
