Apart from being the famous sports personality around the world, they all have shared No. 10 Jersey for their respective teams.
As the FIFA world cup is underway. I am more curious to know the reason behind the No.10 Jersey. If you have noticed it too, No. 10 jersey in every team is wore by the very known player of team. Or in other words someone that are famous player were seen wearing the No.10 Jersey. It includes, Pele, Maradona, Messi, Zidane. Even I have seen the same in Cricket , as our Sachin Tendulkar always seen wearing the No.10 Jersey while playung the Game of Cricket.
What is the logic or magic behind wearing No.10 Jersey ??
Well historically the number at the back of Jersey used to represent, the position the players played at. But over the year, No.7 has been associated with fast facer winger player of team, like of Christano Ronaldo or Neymar. While No.9 is associated with Goal scorer of the teams. And No. 10 with the best influential player of the team. The role of the No.10 player is to create goal scoring opportunities for the team and orchestrated the whole game.
Well whatever be the role of these player, we have seen and witness some of the best players donning the No.10 Jersey. That gives us some good memory and moments to celebrate and enjoy game of Football.
