Splinterlands : Going alone for Chaos Legion packs, why not pool.

I was not sure that how much small players will be interested in buying the packs when they receive much less in vouchers and vouchers are incredibly costly.

Still, even the vouchers are costly still there are players that are buying 1 or 2 packs whenever they can and one of the player/friend I know is @joetunex , who purchases the CL pack when his airdrop become equivalent to 1 Voucher.

I guess small investor/ player will be interested in this deal/pool created by @marcuswahl in which he plans to pool for 2000 packs and buy the packs in 2000 pool to qualify for 20% discount.

What are benefits of joining this pool.

  1. You will be getting 20% discount even if you are buying small number of packs.
  2. You will get CAAD token for each pack purchased to participate in future airdrop.
  3. If pool become top 6 then leaderboard title of designing the card is donated to pool that will bring more value to CAAD token.

Disadvantage

  1. You need Vouchers in multiple of 5 only to participate.
  2. Officially the ownership(buyer) in Splinterland site will be pool account instead of individuals.

Can I trust this pool ?.

This is one question I always ask myself when I hand my money and I think one should always ask.
As far this service/business is concerned, it is not a very new service(https://www.cardauctionz.com/) and may be here for more then couple of years. They also feature as third party vendor in Splinterlands site too.

I am hopeful that many small investor/player will find this service useful and might get benefitted with pool.

Thanks for the mention buddy, I decided to ignore juicy profits the VOUCHER offers if I sell.

For me building my deck is of huge importance to me while buying cards I need, packs are boosts for my deck too.
The pool you shared sounds interesting, I will check it out.

Selling a voucher will get you 4-5 regular sale packs...

So 5-6x the cards per $$ as using the vouchers on pre-sale packs.

Pre-sale only makes sense if you're going for promos/airdrop cards/titles.

I just might just have a rethink on the VOUCHER, I've so far been able to buy 3 packs though from getting 0.25 VOUCHER per day.

Some decisions to ponder and knowing me the moment I sell VOUCHERS I will go on buying cards I need spree 😃

SO many different angles to consider.

The fact that pre-sale packs qualify for a total of 14 card airdrops - that's spicy!

But if you're only going to get 7.5 or so vouchers over the whole thing... That's not a whole lot of airdrop raffles. But it could easily be $100+ that could be used to buy & stake more SPS, to buy regular sale packs, or to buy cards :-)

Thanks for throwing ideas at me, 3 packs in the bag I think I will be channeling the remaining vouchers towards buys cards I wish they could sell higher again than what they currently going for.
