Nia Jax is back on Monday nights and has her attention set on current Raw Woman’s Champion Rhea Ripley. Nia was released back in 2021 allegedly due to budget cuts that sent home several wrestlers in WWE that year.

Fans have another theory though. The main issue with Nia seemed to be how prone she was to injuring her opponents seemingly regularly. Though she only admits to only hurting 2 (Becky Lynch and one other superstar that she didn’t want to mention, but fans think it may have been Kairi Sane). Along side of those two are Bayley, Ember Moon, Mandy Rose and Zelina Vega. Back in 2022 on Renee Paquette’s podcast Nia said: “Hey, guess what? We get in there and we’re going 300 days a year. Not all of my moves are gonna look super clean and smooth and just come out like cherries, but I’m not injuring people. I’m not purposely going out to hurt people. That’s what hurt me the most.”

Either way it seems that she will be in a feud with Raw Woman’s Champion Rhea Ripley, who is the top woman star and heel (even though she is cheered) in the WWE. So there is a HUGE possibility that this could end awfully or it could be a great redemption story for Nia proving she can over come her past matches and have her contract extended beyond the one or few months its stated for.

It is yet to be said if she’s going to join the Bloodline ( it would be interesting as she is Samoan, both The Rock and Roman Reigns are her cousins, Peter Maivia is her uncle) so we’ll have to wait on that, but she could be used if the Bloodline has to go against The Judgement Day. If booked correctly Nia could give a great boost to Rhea making her reign look better defeating another former women’s champ.
