Alright, so I am not an aesthetic individual, but the prizes here are way too tempting. For weeks, I have been seeing this and letting the contest go. I always wondered, what if I tried? Perhaps, I might even get myself a much coveted pack! My progress in Splinterlands has been in a standstill, so any packs would definitely be helpful!

So, here is my entry for this week! This is my first attempt, so do cut me some slack if I this is not the best!

Yups, I am trying to do out a logo, or at least an art to show upvotes! Why would I do so?

Inspiration

For weeks, I have been religiously joining the weekly challenges as well as the social media challenge. And the best thing to catch is, an upvote from the curators. I know they do so manually, one by one. I recently started a giveaway, and I know how tedious it can be to curate each and every comment. These are the unsung heroes that are working tirelessly behind the scene. Also, seeing their upvotes and comments are literally the best thing that I look forward to in my notification bell. So, for something that I yearn so much and look forward to so often, why not... I design an upvote logo? This way, the curators can use it! Imagine if the curators manually upvoting my posts, are using my logo. Wouldn't that be so so cool? Also, a way for me to show my support for all their efforts.

So if any of the curators are interested in using the logo, let me know! I won't mind customising your name in, or making a couple of changes here and there to make it more unique! Do let me know if you are interested!

Steps

a. This is the first time I am using Canva. So I started off with copying a generic template. I used this I would wish for my final product to have a bit of such feels, so this is something like the end goal that I have in mind

b. So I removed the background pictures, and added in our dear Splinterlands Logo taken from well, none other than Splinterlands.com!

c. I loved the gradient fill that the template initially had, so I reinstated the colours at the base

d. I then removed all the unnecessary toggles and all, those that are from the previous picture which I do not want anymore. This is what I call, "Clean Up"

e. I find the white background to be a bit plain, but yet at the same time I want my bottom colour gradient to blend in nicely. So, I changed the background colour and finally decided a light pale grey, so it can match seamlessly.

f. Next, in order to be successful (refer to the image, it is a joke), I would have to change the words to "Upvoted"! Afterall, this is meant to be an image to upvote!

g. I still find my background slightly boring, so I decided to change it to something darker. I love this hypnotic like feels, so I added it as my background.

h. And, FINALLY! IT IS DONE. HERE IS THE UPVOTE LOGO THAT I CREATED!!!

So yea, here is my post! I hope that the logo can be used by the curators, at least one of them! A small gesture to show my appreciation!
