My Battle Strategy and Cards Placement

Alright, I got to admit. My Focus Splinter is Dragon, and I am actually just forcing the Antoid Platoon in into the lineup solely because of the weekly challenge. Nevertheless, the idea was to hope the enemy is physical damage based. My Flying monsters with their high amount of speed, I am hoping that their attacks will miss. Plus, Antoid Platoon's shield abilities was an attempt to reduce whatever physical damage that may come. In this case, it did... The Antoid Platoon absorbed the damage while my remaining backline monsters attacked. Even when they were targeted, the Flying ability helped them to dodge pretty well. Not to mention, Serpentine Mystic, with the Affliction ability that prevents healing.

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?

Surprisingly, or should I use miraculously, it did. The enemies' physical damage was reduced. My Serpentine Mystic prevented the enemy from healing, while I dodged the enemies' attacks. It was pretty lucky that everything fell in place. This was a lineup that when I saw, I thought it was a goner for me. Pretty happy that things worked out and I could submit a post for this week.

Do you like the Antoid Platoon? Why or why not?

Not really... At higher level perhaps he would be useful. But at lower levels, especially with Magic users being the meta, even for match conditions with Little League this little ants will easily get blown away with the magic attacks. Not really a fan, unfortunately...
