My Actifit Report Card: February 16 2022

Hello, my dear friends, I will like to share with you today activities.
Today, I want to talk about preserved Yoruba cultural art and heritage.

When I woke up today, I decided to go and visit the ancient city of ile-ife, Osun State, Nigeria precisely.

Ile-ife is also known as "the source" because it is believed of Yoruba people that be you Oyo, Owu, Egba, Benin are from "the source" which is ile-ife the ancient town of Yoruba lands.

In the heart of ile-ife, I mean "the source" there are statues and signs of some people who had been contributed one way or the other for the development of the Yoruba race. So when I got there, I was able to reach some places such as:

• ile-oduduwa

• Moremi Ajasoro Centre: she was a legendary Queen of the first king of ife. Moremi Ajasoro married to oranmiyan, the son of oduduwa and she played a critical role in liberation of Yoruba land from ugbo kingdom.

• Oke-Mapo
• Obatala shrine
• Opa-oranmiyan shrine

• The King palace of ife and some other places that are too numerous to mention here were able to reach before I returned to where I will stay.

There are so many things that have been written in the books and read, but it is good to be seeing them as a witness that it is true that what they have written it's true. This ancient town is so peaceful to visit for the expatriate who considers the areas to spend their holiday because people of ile-ife and its environ are accommodating visitors by making life easier for them during their stay so to enable them to enjoy the beautiful things around there.
There are still some other things in this town like raw materials such as Gold and other mineral resources that gods of the land blessed with them.

It is good to pay a visit to those places either through the excursion, adventure or leisure.

Yoruba is so rich in culture and diversity to the extent that if anyone visits those areas he/she will not regret being there, in terms of good atmosphere they will enjoy.

One fact must be told, it is good to take off duty after work and give yourself some rest to replenish enough energy.

In terms of stress management, one must be able to get a lot of things out of their mind by mingling with the people who will make them happy and dance away their sorrow because being happy, one would live long and enjoy the good fortune of life. What is the essence of money you have that there is no rest of mind, no sound of good health before you can say you are rich. You must be able to achieve the aforementioned above which you claimed before you can say you are this and that?

Therefore, it is advisable to take your annual leave and go and rest so that you can enjoy the rest of your life with sound health. There is one thing people don't know before we were born into this world work exists and after death, work is going to continue to exist so let us take things easy. I pray that we shall live long to reap the fruit of our labour in good and sound health.
