The Flower-My Actifit Report Card: August 1 2022

The flower is a beautiful plant that everyone delights to have around homes because it is a sign of affection dear to one heart.

This reminds me of a short story of a young lady whose name was a flower.

It happened this way, there was a man who came to meet the parents of the lady whom he loved and proved to spend the rest of his life with but he wasn't yet to make a move to woo her one-on-one and instead of that he went to meet with the parents of the Lady to ask her hands in marriage. The name of this man was Mr Albert.

When he got there, Mr Maccus, the father of this lady, sat on the couch in the living room and there was a knock on the door.

Mr Maccus said who is at the door? That person should enter because the door is open.

Peace unto you in this house. I am here to see daddy and mummy for important matters. Said Mr Albert.

Mr Maccus asked, from where?

I am from this town. Although, I just arrived from an overseas country. Said Mr Albert.

Mr Maccus asked again, Hmmm, Mr Man what is your mission here?

I am here to plough a flower in your backyard. Said Mr Albert.

As he was talking about this, one man came in and called Mr Maccus to one corner and discussed something with him.

Mr Maccus smiled and said Plough flowers! Flower!! Flowers in my backyard!! No problem, I have varieties of flowers there and I will ask my gardener to take you there. Don't worry, get it the way you want it.

Oh! I was not talking about that kind of flower, I am here to ask for your daughter's hands in marriage. Said Mr Albert.

Mr Maccus was surprised, so you are here because of my only daughter and you were perambulated, you didn't go straight to the point. It is a sorry case because another person has asked for the same thing and I have accepted him as my in-law. If you notice when one man called me to a corner, you will see that we were discussing. We were talking about her and I just gave him my consent to allow him to get married to my daughter. By the way, because my daughter's name is the flower and you are now turning her into a plant that you want to plough. My daughter remains my daughter any day, any time. Not because she is getting married I will now say she is not my daughter again. Had it been you expressing yourself immediately you got in, honestly, I would have allowed you to marry her but you did not talk on time. Next time don't waste time, just go straight to the point.

That was how Mr Albert lost the flower to another person because he slows in action.
