Bodybuilder and “Scary Movie” actress Jayne Trcka was reportedly found dead in her kitchen Dec. 12 at the age of 62.

Jayne Marie Trcka (born February 27, 1963) is an American bodybuilder, fitness model and actress. She studied gymnastics and other sports in school. She started weight training after moving to Southern California in 1986. By 1988, she was competing in bodybuilding shows.

Trcka’s son confirmed she died in her San Diego home, TMZ reported. Law enforcement sources told the outlet that a friend became concerned after several failed attempts to reach Trcka by phone. They said the friend attended her residence days later to conduct a wellness check and located Trcka unresponsive. The friend reportedly proceeded to contacted authorities and first responders declared the bodybuilder dead on scene.

The San Diego medical examiner confirmed Trcka’s death to TMZ but noted that her official cause of death remains undetermined. Trcka’s son said he did not know of any medical issues or ailments that would have led to his mother’s death.

No further information was released about the circumstances surrounding her death.

Trcka took part in bodybuilding shows and competitions in the 80s before she secured her first acting role in the 2000 film “Scary Movie,” playing the role of Miss Mann. Her casting in the film opened up other acting roles, including “The Drew Carey Show” and “Whose Line is it Anyway?”

Trcka’s passion for bodybuilding was featured in a number of fitness magazines, including Women’s Physique World, Flex and MuscleMag International.

TMZ reported that Trcka also worked as a realtor in California.
