World Cup 2022 - Congratulations To Argentina!

It was an entertaining final match!

This has got to be one of the best World Cup Finals in history and it was really entertaining for someone who doesn't really support either of the teams. Credit to France to who came back thrice to bring the match to penalties, and congratulations to Argentina for winning it at the end!

I predicted France to win - so I was wrong. The consolation is that I got the 3rd place prediction right. :)

To recap, here's what I wrote:
Croatia vs Morocco: This is actually a very tough match to predict, and both teams have played each other in the group stage as well. Suddenly, Belgium doesn't look too bad considering the top 2 teams in the group made it the semi finals. Anyway, I feel Croatia have enough quality to take the 3rd place and they probably learnt some pointers from France's win as well.

Argentina vs France: Hmm everyone wants Messi to win but player for player, France is definitely the stronger team in my opinion. I think the pressure and expectations might be too huge for Argentina and their form can be quite erratic at times (remember they lost to Saudi Arabia?). So I will go with a France win and they have had a solid tournament throughout.

Our prediction of "More than 165 Goals" turned out right in the end, and this even turned out to be the highest scoring World Cup in history, with 172 goals. Perhaps, it was a little conservative on my part to suggest hedging towards the end, but it was still overall profitable so all's good!
