Juventus Put Their Domestic Struggles Aside
Defending champion Chelsea's week goes from bad to worse. At the weekend, they lost their crunch match with fellow challenger Man City.
Then, Juventus who are struggling domestically, beat them in the Champion's League. The bookies had them as favorites to win this match at 2.25 vs 3.4 for Juventus.
Thanks to a goal by Chiesa, the hosts won, and now Chelsea need to regroup for their match against Southampton at the weekend.
It is still pretty early in the season and I don't think Chelsea fans need to feel too worried. There are no major injuries, just a dip in form, which happens from time to time.
Away fixtures in Europe are a bit of a headache given all the increased covid protocols in place so I wouldn't be too surprised if Chelsea draw over the weekend. Pretty early kick off on Saturday as well so they don't have much time to prepare compared to their opponents.
